Michelle Obama's stupid lunch regulations getting tossed by TRUMP next week!

my wife used to look forward to lunch at the school where she teaches (her school had one of the best cafeterias in the state - she was lucky).
Now? she packs her lunch daily. In fact, our children get their lunches packed.
Schools in Alabama used to serve FRIED CHICKEN, but deep fryers were outlawed because of Michelle Obama. Talk about overreach...
Trump isn't missing anything! Common sense is back people, believe me.
Cuz now we are gonna make school lunch great again! (well, tolerable at least..)

If you're more happy about trashing a man than doing what's best for the country, then I want no part of the modern Republican Party.
This is the same logic used to vote against Hilary --- "I don't care if the other option is the worst for me and others, BUt as long as I ruin someone else or make sure they fail, I'm happy."

They were absolutely awful regulations that hamstrung food directors trying to meet budgets while also meeting all the ridiculous stipulations.

Is it more expensive to bake or grill lean meats with veggies instead of frying them and serving it with mashed potatoes?

That's one rule that needs to go. The government should recommend our daily nutrition, but not enforce it.

Childhood obesity has continued to increase since these standards were implemented.
Interestingly, the only group that has seen a decrease is the 2-5 year olds, who do not eat school lunches.
