More articles. When I prosecuted if I thought people were guilty of crimes I had to file a bill of information including specific statutes. Elements and then prove their actions met those elements.

"As a charter, it is a constituent treaty, and all members are bound by its articles. Furthermore, Article 103 of the Charter states that obligations to the United Nations prevail over all other treaty obligations.[1][2] Most countries in the world have now ratified the Charter."

When the US invaded Iraq without Security Council approval it violated international law.

The conference

"The basic framework for the proposed United Nations was framed in the vision of US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, in which the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and China would lead the postwar international order. It would be these countries, with the addition of France, who would assume the permanent seats on the Security Council. At the conference in Malta, it was proposed that the permanent members have veto power. This proposal was adopted at the Yalta conference. At the same conference, they began sending invitations to the conference.[1] 46 countries were invited to San Francisco. They had declared war on Germany and Japan, having signed the Declaration by United Nations.[3]"

Again - in violating the UN Charter the Bushies pissed on our war dead of World War Two, who died so that an effective international body could come into being and block aggressive war makers like Hitler and Bush.

also remember The Right being incredulous at the sheer absurdity of such an idea.

If there was lawbreaking, it needs to be investigated. Whether any charges are brought is another story and is at the discretion of the new Administration.

That said, the big difference (right or wrong) is that Bush/Cheney were not smearing shite all over the walls, acting like complete asses and promising continued agitation during the transition.

If it happens, Obama and the Dems will have no one but themselves to blame.

So no consititutional issue or treason issues? We are focusing just in UN rules? Good we are getting somewhere. Now please cite the specific rule you claim he violated. What the UN states are the elements necessary to be in violation and the specific actions you allege meet those elements.

Now we can start to discuss it rationally. I'm not interested in articles. Let's discuss the law.

I think that you could argue that the Bushies committed treason when they did something that was -obviously- not in the interests of the United States. They aided our enemies, which include Israel.

We have to stop supporting Israel. Israel is busy committing suicide, but supporting them is detrimental to our welfare between now and their demise.

Perhaps not, but we should delver the Bushies to the Hague and see what happens to them for their violation of International law.

Clearly you are still struggling with the whole specific statute, elements, and evidence portion of this discussion.

Actually...

Based on the repeated violations of the No Fly zones, as well as the refusal to comply with previous SC resolutions stemming from the First Gulf War, GWB already had the legal basis to attack Iraq.

He received authorization for use of force from Congress by presenting false testimony. That led directly to the deaths of millions. If an investigation was done it likely could have uncovered tons of documentation on their intent. It is obvious to everyone that they were looking for an excuse to invade.

Of course there is the case of destruction of government records where the number of counts should be on the order of 20 million.

Then there is the torture issue.

Perhaps we could have issued subpoenas for documents and e-mails related to the financial crisis and bailout.

Ah yes...the moron was such a Svengali he was able to convince Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Madeline Albright and a shitton of Dem Congressional leaders of Iraq's WMD program BEFORE he was elected President.

Pure speculation. I have yet to be presented with a statute, elements, and evidence the elements were meant. I suspect there is a good reason for that.

If I used "likely would have shown" as evidence for Hillarys guilt you would be apoplectic. Not a surprise. I prefer not to deal with hypotheticals, speculation, and conjecture.

You can't find a statute for presenting false testimony to Congress, violating the Geneva Conventions, destruction of government documents, misconduct in office, etc? Evidence is pretty easy to justify an investigation, which is what we are talking about. With some of the items the violation is freely admitted.

Remember when the right wanted Bush to investigate Clinton for selling our high tech missile technology to the Communist Chinese in return for campaign contributions? I do.

Indeed, that's what Bush should have done and the Clinton's couldn't have stolen all that cash over the intervening years. Oh well.

However, it turned out that the Bush family was just as corrupt ad the Clinton family and just as incompetent as well.

Nonetheless, if Trump doesn't put the Clinton's in jail for the rest of their miserable lives, I'll jump off the Trump bandwagon. I wish he'd put the Bush family in prison too.

I want you to support your allegations. You are the one making them. Speculation and conjecture is not support. This election has really hurt you. Shell of your former self. You need a hug?
