Did she address her departure on her show tonight?

Yes ... she praised NBC and said she'll be gone at the end of this week. Thanked the Murdochs but did not mention Roger Ailes. Made some cheesy high drama comments as if she was speaking to an adoringly distraught public. Finished with blessings of some sort and a year in her eye.

Anyways, she's outta there end of this week.

That's true.

It's also true that I frickin' hate autocorrect.

If they're a true news anchor actually doing their job, you'll never know their values.

OK, you have the right to your opinion, dude. I happen to think that the motive is largely to have evenings available to her to be a Mom for her three boys, aged 3, 5 and 7. She was in a huge hurry to have a family and I think that being a Parent and Mom is important to her.

Michael Savage called it around June/July ..., Megyn Kelly will soon be on a different network, with a new haircut, and a different set of political beliefs.

ok, the entire history of television suggests otherwise

everyone wants to be on network tv. while the ratings gap between network and cable has shrunk, network tv is still the fricking show.

comedians, broadcasters, etc...all of them want to be on network tv. bigger audience, more notoriety, more money.

every comedian on comedy central wants a network sit com

every broadcaster wants to be the lead anchor on network news

every pundit/celebrity save for the Leonardo DiCaprios of the world want to be on network shows.

you take network off the table and megyn Kelly wouldn't be going to nbc, so while I don't deny her family situation was a factor, it was of little to no consequence..

she got paid (and good. she's making a living) and she's going to be on network tv while still able to do the cable news circuit

she has more on her plate, not less...and if i'm lester holt or Rachel maddow. i'm a little worried until her role is more clearly defined. I can't help but think they're going to make her lead anchor and tell holt it's been real.

actually the dynamic changed post election with bret baier and tucker Carlson surpassing her...the evening lineup has surprisingly been the weak link post election and now an anonymous source is telling breitbart (they clearly have a source or multiple at fox news) that they just said, here's $20 million but we're not putting up with any of your shite after she asked for $25 million.

good for her, good for fox. i'm interested in the cable war between msnbc and cnn. msnbc is already kicking CNN's arse in the evening lineup and if they add Kelly to their schedule, things are going to get interesting.

personally, she'll obviously have a role on network, a big one, but if it's not lead anchor, they're not paying her for daytime tv...she'll be hosting a late afternoon/early evening show. probably the 6 et hour.

Ding Ding Ding......and I am thinking Chuck Todd had better watch out on Meet the Press

Honestly though, I think she is a pretty good journalist. Many on here don't like her because unlike Hannity she did not fall all over Trump and asked him a question he did not like.

I'm no fan ever since she used her war with Trump to self promote. If you go back & recall everything she was saying back then, how unbiased she remained, proving what a truly great analyst she was. Then consider what she said in her book about the Trump war resulted in her needing body guards for her family, her children...no one would be truly unbiased when her family was put at risk. So that was all self promoting B.S. But, at the same time, she was consistent all this past year bout wanting more family time with her 3 kids: she would go in to work at 3 & return home close to midnight, leaving her no after school/soccer games time with her kids. She also wants to be the next Barabra Walters....her words.

without question, and it's off putting to me. i never cared what she had to say before, during or after, so it's not political, it's just that i think she's slime.

i rest my case. Barbara walters is Barbara walters because she was on network television.

honestly, the view probably made her more famous than she already was...20/20 was a huge gig, but the view for whatever reason seems to have cemented her legendary status by introducing her to yet another generation
