51 Senators can control the rules. All motions need simple majority vote.
47 Democrats and 4 Republican cucks can pretty much shut down any rule or procedure that is favorable to Trump.
It's why any motion to dismiss will fail.
Even though the Democrats won't get enough Republicans to remove Trump they will probably have enough to prevent much of what Trump would like to do at trial.

If you watched that video and were not deeply concerned with McConnell's cavalier attitude toward this disastrous upcoming Senate trial, then you are likely as wishy-washy as McConnell.
Ted Cruz himself made clear to the Trump Admin in a meeting in the Roosevelt room at the White House a while back that the votes for the witnesses and rules that the President wants is just not there.
But the bottom line is that there is still zero republican support for conviction and removal.

McConnell has sabotaged Trump too many times to count.
And Trump has sabotaged McConnell plenty of times as well. It's an even handed and fair working relationship.
The Senate and President are separate but equal branches. Just like the framers wanted.

You'd like that, lol! Old turtle has got a plan for the anti-American, socialist left. Of that you can be sure. He's pretty busy flipping the courts at the moment.
But he will do this and do it the right way, unlike he criminal element in the house. And the dems are not going to enjoy the outcome.

He won’t always agree with Trump but Cocaine Mitch has done tremendous in one of the most important functions as a Senate leader: confirming conservative judges.

The impeachment sham is just a continuation of the coup attempt to remove Trump. Barr/Durham should investigate.
