Well, the people promoting celebration of weirdos are the same people that want America to fail : Marxists. So it isn't a surprise.

The Marxist tenet is purely antithetical to Christian doctrine as it attempts to usurp any semblance of foundational order and structure as originally ordained by God, the Creator. It is a word salad of philosophy which questions authority and promotes a radical perspective on advocating for the complete abandonment of said order and structure - e.g. Man and Woman (two biological genders), union between Man and Wife (marriage), God and Man (all men are created equal as God is our divine Creator), etc. In other words, it attempts to replace the concept of "original sin" by the fall of man as written in Genesis with one that is a socio-cultural trespass of the case where it is man against man or man who has oppressed man, instead of one that is of man committing an original offense against God. CRT authors relegate Judeo-Christian values to a mere oppressor-fabricated social construct developed solely for the purposes of it being the delivery mechanism with which to install "white supremist" or "oppressive" systems of society. The idea of a morally upright and morally perfect God is thereby removed from the entire picture because God, and therefore Christianity as a religion, has been replaced with a man-made religion that characterizes an oppressor vs. oppressed worldview.

Critical Theory, or Critical Race Theory, when dealing with "race", is a foundational component of modern-day identity politics or intersectionality because it is the engine of the train which ties together all of the other boxcars - Gender Equality, LGBTQIA2+s equality, Racial Justice, Climate Justice, etc. Anyone who therefore does not sympathize, subscribe to and advocate for (e.g. "if you're white and you're not actively anti-racist then you're still at fault - i.e. the sin of 'white fragility'") this "train" of Justice (think ESG scoring) is therefore considered a dissenter of humanity's progress and its protection and sanctity thereof - again, no God in the picture, no fall of mankind who originally sinned against God, no judgement, and therefore no need for a Savior. Jesus Christ is the world's #1 enemy.

Marxism/communism is a religion, or a replacement for religion (which may be more or less what you’re saying). True believers of Marxism are wholly devoted to it, probably more so than most Christians are devoted to their religion imo, which is what makes them dangerous.

Incidentally, what you’re saying about the philosophy questioning authority, promoting radical perspectives, and basically abandoning all moral values is why liberals always look so freakish in their appearances. It’s about destroying societal norms and being your “true self” or whatever.

The religion of Marx is so focused on its historicism that anyone who stands in the way of “progress” becomes an enemy of the state. And then the gulags become a necessity for Marxism. It can’t exist without killing its opponents.
