Very sad in terms of medical research, apparently some of these guys were developing some pretty revolutionary treatments and insight into the disease.

Terrible tragedy all around. Russians have inexplicably behaved as savages for almost the entirety of their history--save some respite during the latter years of the Romanov dynasty (whom they ultimately killed).
I can't imagine why God puts so many beautiful women within reach of such abject beasts.

Makes not sense. Russia has the highest rate of HIV/Aids infection of any near-western white nation. It really is a shame.

Well, we know the U.S. government created the AIDS. They probably paid Russia to shoot the plane down so as not to allow a cure to be invented.
All part of the Illuminati grand plan of course.
Then I also saw something on facebook about this being tied in with the other plane disappearing and all of of being sheep about the moooslims really stealing one of these bad boys to fill it with bombs and crash it in the U.S.

It's actually quite rational on their part; they've basically been overrun, destroyed, conquered, and emasculated by every major conquering empire since the early Middle Ages. Huns, Vikings, Mongols, Muslims, French, Nazis, and on and on. Usually they were brutally and savagely crushed.
There is an excellent book released not too long ago called The Revenge of Geography by one of my favorite authors in Robert Kaplan. He goes into a fair amount of detail on why Russia acts in the manner it does, and it really is quite straightforward - they will do anything within their considerable power to prevent invasion on their open plain. Sixteen hundred years of brutal history is embedded deeply within their DNA.

But you can say the same about anywhere in Europe, and most other places. What makes the Russians more paranoid than the Poles?
