I also think one of the most incredibly rude and classless things to do is to talk on a cell phone while dealing with a bank teller, or buying a cup of coffee or making a purchase in a retail shop. I mean put the fricking phone down for five minutes while you're dealing with a live person, you stupid sack of shite.

There's a paint for that: LINK

Interesting , from the article active cell signal jamming is illegal whereas passive cell signal jamming is legal. Cell signal jamming paint would be legal.

Using this system, a theater owner could allow cellphone signals before the show or during an intermission, but completely block them during the movie. At the same time, that theater owner could still allow emergency radio communications to get through.

Sweet.

Nothing like sitting down to some fine dining just as the patron at the table next to you starts blaring some crap from youtube or some stupid arse song at top volume. I frickin hate that shite. Cell phones make people classless. If I owned a nice place I would jam them in the dining rooms and keep it a secret "I apologize sir, but cell phones do not get reception in our dining room. We have no idea why. If you need to place a call we have a free phone at the bar."

I think cell phones have made some people socially inept. They could pretend otherwise before.

And stupid.

I saw a doorman at a bar I was going to use his cell phone to figure out how to subtract $24 from $100 to make change. I wanted to hit him.

Bull shite. That liquid gets burned, thus there are some carcinogens in that "water vapor"

I agree about people who use cellphones for talking in a restaurant, but I pay for expensive business dinners and use the phone (a Galaxy Note 3) to bring in content from the cloud to share with clients or to quickly look up data that the client needs.

Also, for you holier-than-thou phone blockers, how many have never had someone arrive before you and then text you or call you to tell you where to locate them?

If a restaurant were blocking phone service, I'd never visit again, plus would use social media to negatively affect its business. When I spend hundreds or even the occasional thousands of dollars at a restaurant, they should respect the business aspect of the technology and the convenience factor.

At the same time, patrons, even myself, should be aware of the nuisance they create when speaking on a phone in a restaurant. If a call comes in to me from someone I really need to talk to, I always excuse myself and talk outside.

First one is harmless

The Nicotine is the only thing these guys could have a beef with. No tar, no lingering smoke, no rat poison, no ricin, no yellow cake uranium, just nicotine. Which is, as another poster pointed out, a lower amount than they would be exposed to if they ate a potato.

But they look like cigarettes, kinda, sorta, so they gotta go. Won't someone please think of the fricking children, please.

it's hilarious that the government has no trouble at all taxing cigarettes

Not all ecigarette companies run or release batch test results. If the government has issues, they should just tax & regulate it so that all must meet the same standards. You can't this type of info from a cigarette pack but they are still sold & taxed.
