Well, if she's not gonna talk about what she's doing at the IRS she probably shouldn't have the job. Seems like a pretty easy decision.

Yes but no link was found right???

DUMBASS!!! HE could not find a link because he did not look for one. He specifically said that in his testimony. He DID NOT LOOK FOR A LINK TO THE WHITE HOUSE. He never said one was not there.

This is not difficult to comprehend.

There is zero evidence that this is connected to the White House. The IG - a Republican appointee w/ a solid work reputation - testified last week that his investigators uncovered no corruption and no political involvement.

bullshitee

The White House has been knowing about this since a year ago. Jay Carney even admitted that but his aides never told Obama about it. The IRS will not give up the email communication with the White House which is another big arse red flag. We need a Special Counsel to investigate this story because the IRS and WH stories continue to change.

I am imagining this whole thing like the goat scene from Jurrasic Park

Lois Lerner is the goat, the Park Staff are the democrats/White House, and the Republicans/American People are the T-Rex

I would hope that the Republicans and American People are like the T-Rex in Jurassic Park, who don't want to be fed but want to hunt. The park staff(Democrats) are offering the goat to the T-Rex hoping that will satisfy the "hunger".

They should reject this sacrificial goat meal and keep hunting and digging for more and more dirt here.

no he didnt clown. Did you listen to the hearings?

So soon w/ the ad hominem attacks? And no, I didn't, I'm relying on the reports of those who did:

"Republicans openly rejected George's assertion that he has no evidence that the decision to target conservative groups was politically motivated." - LINK

Nevertheless, if you have evidence of a connection to the White House I'd be eager to see it.

You're talking about the guy who used to date Michelle Obama?

Wonderful red herring.

He also testified that this was an audit and they really did not look beyond the IRS itself. He did not say that he investigated and found no link.

There's no transcript so I can't agree w/ you but I am aware that this was not a full... colonoscopy, so to speak. Even so, most people in this thread aren't operating from the assumption that we need to wait for a full disclosure of the facts before rendering judgment.

I believe his aides knew a/b an investigation into the IRS's targeting of conservative groups. I was referring to whether or not the White House had anything to do w/ ordering that targeting.

There will be a special prosecutor appointed. That seems inevitable.

History of a personal relationship with the President's wife is a Red Herring?

For an IG?

Really?

It was testimony under oath. And yes, I've acknowledged that they weren't looking at connections to the White House, but it's reasonable to assume that connections might be uncovered. My point is simply that so far there is zero evidence linking any targeting of conservative groups by the IRS to the White House.

You ever worked in Washington? Democrats date Republicans. It happens.

And if anything, just basing this on my own personal experience, the LAST person I'd be willing to do favors for is the guy who dated/married my ex.

If I lost my keys in my house, but fail to check a room in the house..it is WRONG to claim they are not in that room.
