Same question to you, Spidy: why do you think aggressive violence is more moral than prejudice?

No they can't.

As long they don't force anyone to do anything they don't want to do, they are not harming anybody, they are not stealing anything and not slandering anyone's name; yes they can do whatever they want.

The organization does not hire incompetents due to race because they are altruistic. They do it for protection from lawsuits and attacks by the EEOC and the DOJ.

If they can't find qualified minority applicants and have some sort of mechanism in place that is self imposed that requires them to hire minorities (there is no law that would require that they do so) then it isn't only the black woman who is incompetent it is the entire organization.

If they are going out and knowingly hiring incompetent people then the organization has a problem. If they are doing this, as you claim, to avoid racial discrimination litigation then they have a SERIOUS organizational problem and are probably smart to worry about such things because it is a pretty good bet that someone in upper management in the organization is a mouth breathing racist or the entire corporate culture is who would not accept applications from black people at all if they were not afraid of litigation.

But let's get this straight...because this is where ya'll go off the deep end EVERY single time one of you broach this subject...it never fails. This hospital is unable to recruit a competent black person for a job and must knowingly hire incompetent people because it is not possible to hire a competent minority? Really? This is what you are unequivocally stating? And to make matters worse this organization has allowed this person in particular to remain employed because she found out that she couldn't be fired so she did not give a hoot one way or the other? And you blame this whole concocted story on the individual who is incompetent? WOW......

Again I am telling you that this story is bullshite. It has never happened. I have no doubt that in y'alls sphere it is an accepted fact but it is a lie as are all stories of this nature, which are abundant. There is no legal requirement that any private employer hire any minority. There is no such thing as a race quota in hiring...none.....

By that standard (ignoring the law), I suppose anyone can do whatever they want. In this country, denying someone the opportunity for employment based on their race is an offense punishable by civil fines. You don't like it, too bad.

That's would/should fallacy. We're not discussing what IS. We're discussing what SHOULD BE.
