I mean. That's kinda the final nail in the coffin that contains liberal belief in American ideals.
They were completely ok with using the government to attack opponents and now this.
Blunt reality conservatives. Even your liberal friends are generally bad people. Not a one of them would have an ounce of problem with a liberal president targeting you.
You might willingly fight for their right to their beliefs but you can take this to the bank. They don't feel the same about you.
They effectively told you this during the IRS crap. They told you when they thought it was cool that Romneys tax records were obtained.
They told you for about a minute when they thought Maddow did the same with Trump.
Liberals don't just dislike your ideas. They sincerely believe they're fighting Hitler and they've been acting accordingly

They seem to be cheerleading American jobs being shipped overseas or to Mexico as well.

They always knew it was true, viscerally. So, it amuses me that they stuck with, "It didn't happen - nobody 'wiretapped' Trump Tower" - KNOWING full well they were going to have to come back after the substance of it was proven and say, "Well, it's okay because our side did it and Trump is a Russian, meanie, poopy-head."
Now - since it's okay with them, when Trump does it in 2020, he will be Nixon/literally Hitler.

Progressives need to start being treated like the children they act like.
Children , the younger ones, they eventually grow out of this, tell on people for doing the very same things they do.
Children make up excuses when caught misbehaving.
Children blame others for their own bad behavior.
Children expect others to bale them out of their own stupid decisions.
This is all a direct result of a population that no longer grows up at an appropriate rate.

I work on a college campus, so I'm surrounded by liberals here. And yes, there are a lot of them today that fit your post to a T. But there are also some who are genuinely upset with the revelations. We need the latter group to convince the former that they are insane, because those crazy ones just flat out won't listen to us. They sometimes listen to "their own". When we keep insisting that they are all in that same category of shite bag, it makes it exceedingly difficult to get them on your side, even when they agree with you

Given what we now know, it was a joke made in poor taste, but at least be fair about it, he wasn't saying "Hey Russia, hack Hillary"

False. They've alienated me. I've watched people that are supposedly my friends completely support targeting people who think like me.
I'm sure they'd tell ME they wouldn't be ok with ME being targeted but that's a distinction without a difference

I work with a lot of traditional liberals. I only know a couple of these progressives.
The traditional liberals I work with are completely mortified. Of course, these traditional liberals still fight against government authority. They are good people and are as upset as I am. They believe strongly in the U.S. Constitution.
These progressives are a different breed. They fight anything or anyone that goes against their beliefs. The progressives I know do not give a shite about the U.S. Constitution or the core principles upon which our nation was founded. They are a scary group.
