Why on earth would diversity of thought cause adversity? Life isn't a zero sum game.
Unless it is under the assumption of universal perceptions that liberals must make the focal point of their lives to dominate OTHERS with their moral standards rather than live and let live as long as rights of others to freely express aren't being infringed....

Not sure how that state can be considered as progress, as there is no end goal, but just ceaseless conflict and blood accomplishing nothing, but you do you, man.

I agree, except i don't think diversity is merely skin deep.
Not all white people are the same.
Not all black people are the same.
Not all Mexicans are the same.
Not all lbgtqzdigsa are the same.
You see, human beings have this thing... it's a brain which brings to life a mind... and the variation among human minds vastly outnumbers the variation among skin colors or gender.
If you reduce human beings to skin color and gender, you're actually limiting the interaction of diverse minds because you're operating in a highly generalized form of diversity.
Then progress loses.
Progress also takes diverse minds willing to work towards the common goal.
what is progress to you? I don't think everyone sees progress as the same thing... clearly.
