Hard to blame a dude who tea-bagged his highly qualified Republican opponents twice...and not the Clintons who were literally handed the nomination and lost to the worst candidate in history.

2012 wasn't some great feat, either. Romney ran a horrible campaign and people still blamed the gop for the then stagnant and disappointing economy.
Party losses during a president's term fall on the president...period. Bush was the reason for the 2006 midterm mess, and obama was responsible for 2010 and 2014. Trump should be blamed if 2018 goes bad. Period.
