Keeping your health law plan may mean premium hike

Just a little food for thought.
quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Many of the 7 million consumers who got insurance under the president's health care law will see premiums go up next year, unless they're willing to switch to another plan.
That was the assessment of independent analysts as the Health and Human Services department released a massive computer file of premium details on Friday.
The numbers will take time to crunch. But they're expected to show that certain low-cost plans used by the government to set subsidies for consumers will cost about the same as this year. That's about $330 a month.
The catch is that your current plan may no longer be the low-cost benchmark, and you'll pay the higher premium unless you switch.

I think the numbers are 3 million. Not 7. But good try AP.

may?
My deductible just doubled. Copays, employee contibution and out of pocket max went up 25%.
When HR came to do their presentation for us they made it perfectly clear that all increases are due to ACA.

But yes, premiums will go up. Not sure why that is a news story.

But your employer is saving 3000% on his healthcare cost. Barry suggests you ask for a raise.
Someone should teach obama about percentages

the difference is what?
Everyones costs are going up because of the ACA, period, significantly more than they would have if we did not have this law forced down our throats.

Whatever. I'm buying a 4-wheeler with my $2500.
