Did anyone else catch him about 15--20 min ago? He was really concerned that Comey's testimony was awful for Trump. Also said that Trump's attorney's statement needs to be great to combat this narrative that Trump is a liar and that he fired Comey to end the Russia investigation.

Yes I saw it. He was concerned that Trump lied to the public about "pressuring Comey." However, that all depends on what Trump's intent was.

To get straight to the point, that doesn't matter. Not to the voters. His base thinks he is our first honest president, and the far left will never accept him anyway. It doesn't matter beyond the voters because there's nothing illegal, and there's nothing here to move to an impeachment.
