Beachfront tiny homes are gonna be lit

LA residents with ADU units are gonna find out why Garcetti granted them those permits

I foresee the purchase of a lot of bus tickets to NOLA, Memphis, Miami, and other cities across the south.

I guess that every other city with a problem of this nature should offer "homeless" a free bus ride to Los Angeles.

This is completely fricked.

Judge has a point about losing so much public property due to this. BUT. Housing in the LA area is expensive as frick and a lot of the reason these people are in LA are that city policies encourage it, through various services guaranteed for the homeless, an inability to evict them from public property, etc.

Something needs to be done but what the judge is asking for is about the stupidest possibly way to handle it IMHO.

Liberals birth their own problems and their only solution is to be MORE liberal and socialist.

We all know this will never work, but I applaud the Judge for at least putting this back in the city government's lap to clean up.

People have no right to live in the streets, dumping feces, needles, trash, discarded food, along with having sex, doing drugs, and disturbing the peace.

We aren't there yet, but there will come a time that people have enough of this and don't tolerate it anymore.

Yea, the problem is just lack of housing.

You could give these people $1 million and they would be homeless again in a month or less.

Hmm...becoming homeless...looking like a good option. Free place to live. Free food. And coming soon a monthly pay check for sitting on my arse.

This would be funny if these morons weren't ruining the rest of the country too.

yep. There's a YouTube channel made by a German guy who visits Venice Beach in his videos. He's interviewed homeless people there who have been offered free housing with wifi in Hollywood. They said nah I'm good

I have a friend that lost his wife and daughter in a car wreck, then about the time he was getting things back together he lost his dad suddenly... He sold everything he owned and has been wandering the country with a tent and backpack for the last 10 years...

He actually loves being "homeless"... In many ways, he is about as free as you can get...

What legal precedent obligates them to provide housing?

That’s absurd.

We sold apartments in El Segundo (LA county) under 1/2 mile to the beach. That town has one of the coolest Main Streets in the US. No crime.

But it wasn't worth the bullshite. We were getting over $2.50 per square foot per month per unit in rent which is insane. We pocket listed them and didn't even need an MLS to get a cash offer and quick closing.

Come to find out that Dockweiler Beach is a place that might house homeless. I am glad I have that money instead of those apartments.

Kind of like how the fed gov entices illegals eh.

I agree, I hope the bus tickets being bought are in every other city, one way, to LA. They want em send em. This is about to get fun.

So cali will have the highest price gas in the US, one of the highest sales and local tax, highest price for power and water, terrible traffic, beaches full of literally mexican shite and oil, sky rocketing crime, and now tons of homeless on top of homeless.

Ya think the ACLU is renting buses in Tijuana as we speak, not only can I get you in free, you will get free housing from the get go, in sunny LA.

Is the judge enforcing some sort of law or mandate the city hasn’t followed through on? How else would he be forcing the city to comply with this?

There are 3 reasons why Ssouthern California has been attractive for years.

The 3 Ws. Women, Weather and Weed. Now that other places are producing quality flower it's only down to 2 and that doesn't make it worthwhile to deal with.
