One of the crazier things I've ever seen following politics, it is like the stroke activated his brain. Until he actually votes against a dem backed progressive bill I'm still skeptical though, that party doesn't let folks get out of line like the R's.

Somebody's got to take the mantle of the conservative leaning Dem now that Joe Manchin is going away. Of course, they won't truly vote against anything important to the Dems. Call me a doubting Thomas in his case.

What we all believed to be a catastrophic stroke apparently rewired the neuro parthways in his brain and its resulted in a Fetterman with a marked increase in sane and rational thought.

He's still a communist, but he is trying to balance himself with positions on issues that won't piss off his comrades too much.

I think that is exactly why he is taking the positions that he is taking. He wants to balance himself so that he can't be portrayed as a far left loon.
