Teased breaking news that she had Trump's 2005 returns. Returns show Trump paid millions in taxes. Left melt ensues.

2. Says they are leakes
3. Picked up by Drudge
4. Determine returns are from 2005
5. Announce Trump paid a rate of 25% on air
6. Dont realize until after air that Trump leaked the returns
7. Everyone finds out Trump pays more in taxes than Obozo, Bernie, Hillary, MSNBC, etc.
8. Progs BTFO

So was it the first she heard of it when she broke it? She didn't know? You'd think if she knew beforehand, she wouldn't report it, right?

She apparently got it about an hour before going on air. Was so damn giddy about it, she didn't stop to think.

She heard that someone had his tax returns and immediately jumped on it because it's been a left talking point since the election. She got played by Trump.

This really bad for her. Yeah she'd spout some shite, but she was always very good right on air citing which source she got it from immediately. She's always been very upfront where she gets her ideas from, which is why it surprises me coming from her. This Wolf Blitzer and Don Lemon level of bullshite.
While I've largely disagreed with her, I've always thought she was very intelligent. I don't know how she could possibly frick up on this. If she was smart, she'd issue and apology and blow it off like O'Reilly did with how the tides form. Both incredibly stupid on their parts, but usually respected by both sides since they're particularly good at their jobs for their audiences.

She's never been known for breaking news anymore than most political commentators are. Why would she leak this? It's BuzzFeed level bullshite.
