Wrong wrong wrong. My family's Health Insurance has gone down the past two years. And I have Multiple Sclerosis. We both have excellent jobs so you're dead wrong on that. Yes, it has increased for some people as part of the adjustment from undercharging people. But maybe you need to look for a better job? But good job generalizing everyone.

Dafuq you know about me, I think you're lying saying your shite has gone down. I haven't talked to any one who has had theirs go down in the last 3 years. I think you're one of the degenerate class of free loaders in this country just trying to justify this BS POS wealth redistribution.

And BTW I have a good job, and that good job used to have good insurance before this mess the liberals have created of the insurance and healthcare system. And nope, can't go the the exchange and get insurance. Why? because I'm not part of the degenerate class of free loaders in this country, I have a job and that means I pay triple the coast if I go the the exchange. Boy we sure are progressing now. We'll be Europe before the decade is out.

So what would you propose then? Because your logic leads to just one solution: single payer.

It was the opening gambit in a negotiation with the Senate.
Ryan needed to get something out of the House to start the process. It was designed for mark-up/amendment under reconciliation in the Senate. The bill would have opened paths to modification in several planned phases.

Instead, we have Obamacare.

Knew when POTUS Trump said kids could stay on parent's policies and "everyone" would have great healthy insurance he was just talking some variant of ObarryMedicaidCare (OMC).

Just kept wishin' and a hopin' that someway or somehow it could be done properly. You can dumb yourself into anything if you try hard enough.

The death spiral toward govt. single payer is inching closer fans.

Not sure why they can't just repeal for now.

They have had YEARS to come up with a better solution. Instead they spent so long whining like pansies about it, and never coming up with something better than the ACA.

Neither did Trump, despite telling everyone he had.

Republicans have no idea what to do now that they're in charge, except do everything they can to get their people rich. Actual legislation? Don't make me laugh.

It stopped Medicaid expansion

It gave the high risk pool bait

stopped the fines in employers

Instead. We got nothing.

No, the bill being shitty makes it true.

Unless you yet again believe the most consistently used lie by politicians… "pass this now and we'll pass good stuff later."

When has a bill EVER gotten LESS liberal/socialist in the Senate? Go ahead. Point one out.

If it was a "means to an end," then you pass a bill like Rand's and then work toward compromise(give establishment and liberals pork and power). You don't EVER start with Obamacare-lite and hope to work towards Rand's bill. Won't fricking happen. Never.

Phase 2 and 3 were never going to happen. How many fricking times will you believe that same fricking lie?

Yep. You're right.

Put a good, conservative bill before the POTUS.

It also gave Obamacare a lifeline and ventilator, a lifeline that was tied around the necks of Republicans.
