It Is Really Easy To Give People Free Stuff & Almost Impossible To Take It Away

Because they become dependent upon it and expect it.

It is really easy to give people free stuff, it is really hard to actually pay for it because someone has to pick up the bill at some point, and it is virtually impossible to take it away once you start giving it away.

If only our government and more people actually took the time to really consider this reality I think we could begin to have an honest discussion that might lead to sincere results of difficult problems.
