It is abundantly clear that Trump's handling of the MSM is the only viable strategy

The veil if impartiality has been lifted, everyone knows the outlets are not only in the tank for Leftists, they are actively colluding with them to peddle conspiracy theories and propaganda. Even for you NeverTrumpers, this is the same industry that sullied squeaky clean Mitt Romney for rustling a classmate's hair in fourth grade and referring to a binder full of women.

You cannot play nice and you cannot play fair, as they operate with zero ethics and are willing to cover for one another to keep the operation running. The rule book of the past needs to be shredded and burned. You cannot capitulate to them, you cannot give them an inch, you have to fight back. Absorbing their punches is impossible, given the saturation they are able to make on a given subject.

You have to go on the offensive. You have to attack their credibility. You have to circumvent their ability to twist and frame messaging to the masses. That is where Trump has harnessed the simplest, yet powerful tool: the Twitter account. They have to cover what he says because no matter what it is, they will attempt to spin it negatively. But sometimes it is the mere breaching of a subject that is a win for him (i.e. Obama's involvement with Russians shifted the narrative, albeit momentarily).

I'm so glad he's ignoring all the cucks who are telling him to get off of twitter.

Keep tweeting Mr. President! It's why we voted for you!

Nobody wants state-run news. Many people want to be able to watch news and get an objective take on FACTS. It is indisputable that the major media outlets trip over themselves to be the first to break an anti-Trump story, and they're starting to get burned: see Buzzfeed with the "dossier" and CNN with the banking scandal. How about just report the fricking news and not make it or twist it or slant it?

because, like I've argued in the other thread, that isn't what we, as a society, really want

we want someone to tell us what it means and we want that person to tell us what we want it to mean

We need to be accurate in these discussions. CNN is in the tank for GLOBALISTS, not leftists. There is a huge difference.

We are being brainwashed that everything in this country is L vs R or Dem vs Rep. That is NOT the battle we should be waging. That only divides us. The battle is globalists vs nationalists.

That's a valid concern but should Trump just lay down and allow a corrupt media and their Democrat allies to overthrow the Republic with a "Russians" narrative that each and every one of us has known for an absurd lie from the first day?

Or, it is simply a distraction from his implementation of the establishment agenda?
