One former D now acting as an R isn't going to be able to break up the band.

Too many cult members on the left and too many weaklings on the right.

I'm trying to remain positive too but the identity politics is going to get worse and they will fire up the identities for mid-terms.

It usually happens anyway but Trump has them all buying the same fedora and coloring their hair the same shade of pink.

It is for just the Executive Branch to drain. It needs the help of the Legislative Branch. But Trump voters voted nearly every Congressional incumbent back into office, and now wonder why they're getting the same swamp.

If so then what hope do we have? He is the closest thing to an outsider we will be allowed to vote for.

He ensured my ISP can sell my data without consent, what's not to love so far?

That's because you're paying attention to the liberal media. Turn that junk off, it will rot your brain.

I am entertained by this board's daily observation that Trump walks like a cuck and quacks like a cuck, and then proceeds to display mental gymnastics that would make Cirque Du Soleil jealous, to make itself believe he isn't a cuck.

I don't disagree. It's everything he can sign with some Democrat support.

Naw, he can do a lot without democratic support. He just hasn't done it.

How can he get non-revenue-neutral legislation to pass the senate without Democrat support?

He hasn't even gotten things through the house, where the republicans enjoy a strong majority.

He has done everything he can do without having to drag congress along with him

But by all means swallow what the "unbiased" media says

he isn't getting stuff done. Most of the time presidents have a bit more details on their legislative agenda before starting but Trump broke the norms and didnt have details.

And then got caught with his pants down as he didn't have details.

I said it once and I'll say it again. Our country would be much better off if we had a President/Congress/House that did nothing at all. Every time they start messing with stuff the country suffers for it.

Are you trying to say that the Dems would oppose his infrastructure plan?

Maybe he should just admit that the Republicans like Ryan never had a good replacement option and work with the Dems on fixing the ACA?

He's having trouble getting huge things done because there are a lot of Repubs in congress that hate his guts and will do anything to undermine his presidency regardless of whether they agree with him or not.

Trump voters?

How many Dems were reelected?

Has he released an infrastructure plan for them to oppose or support yet? Seems like that would have been big news, but I haven't heard of any plan being released. I know the Senate Dems sent him a letter with their ideas on an infrastructure bill, and according to them he's yet to respond to it.

Clinton didn't run on "draining the swamp" or radically changing the status quo in DC. Trump did.
