Trump can only do so much. His current warning to the republicans on being very careful on Schumer and the dems trying to hang an albotross necklace of Obamacare on them. Is quite wise. Schumer already calling it ACA and trying to distance it from Obama and the dems. Complete: with their throw granny of a cliff, make america SICK again-usual garbage.
The idiotic republicans would usually bow to this and falter.
Trump can't tell the Senate to go frick off right out the gate; if they have already had this wall plan in place ready to go. Common sense prevails, that if the wall and it's Israel technology (that keeps terrorists out BTW) does not work. Trump is unafraid to change up-until the job and concept is properly completed with high standards to do the job needed.
You're failing to see that, if it works for Israel, it may work for us. Your 'soon it will be a poodle barking,' comments are juvenile in overall discussion and ignoring the technolgy and concept of the wall.

quote:Please stop with this naive ignorance. Seriously.
Trump can only do so much.
You were duped by the establishment-laden Trump; just like the Obamabots were duped by the establishment-laden Obama. Use it as a learning tool rather than the desperate attempt to apologize and excuse it away.
For frick's Sake, the guy hasn't even taken office yet and you Trumptards are making Obamabots look sane in comparison.

quote:Silly girl. I'm didn't ignore it; I summarily dismissed it for the naive garbage that it is.
You ignore everthing I said
You're going to have to step up your level of apologies and excuses if you plan to keep up with the poliboard over the next 4-8 years.

A fence would be fine. Anything that slows (or stops) the flow of criminals across the boarder.
And to the ladder and shovel people thinking about going over or under it. We have sensors that can detect digging now. We can simply give the the boarder guards drones and satellite technology that can "see" underground. Add some voltage to the fence and it will be one hell of a deterrent. Also the drones could be used to find anyone who makes it across the boarder. It is not like they will dig a 20 mile tunnel. The boarder has vast areas of nothing, and it would be easy to locate a person(s) moving across it.
But the fence must be just part of the solution. Things like E-Verify, and regulations on who can open a bank account or send money out of the country. Add fines for employing any non-citizen without current papers and HUGE fines will fix the biggest part of the problem.

10 ft trench under fence filled with concrete so they don't mole under the fence.
Sniper towers set every 500 yards.

Make it 10' higher and call it good.
Oh, and add laser beams.
And a moat full of crocs and pythons on either either side.
