Israel has the book on Iran influence in large part. I’m sure a decapitation strike vs decades of steady, tiresome but mostly successful defense has its appeal…but devil you know, etc.

Considering that we scrapped the avionics packages on all their birds on the ground, my guess is that is all most of the planes are good for.
