This picture is consistent with the theory that the two blue lines on the Israeli flag represent the Nile and Euphrates Rivers. Back in 1948, some Zionists were pissed off at David Ben Gurion for "selling them out" by settling for so little, instead of deamdning all of Eretz Israel.

And I stand by my opinion in THIS thread. It is quite clear Israel has no interest in keeping peace with the Palestinians, but every interest in stealing their homes and farms.

The Palestinians showed their true colors when Arafat walked away from the Camp David II peace talks in 2000.
They've never wanted peace with Israel, and they never will. They're satisfied doing the dirty work of all these other groups who use them and give them nothing in return.
I wouldn't care if Israel took it all and threw them all out.

Right on cue the Israel-firsters start deflecting rather than deal with the OP. What can be the moral justification for the Israelis confiscating property from the Palestinians to build Jewish-only settlements when they have in Abbas the most accommodating Palestinian leader they will ever have? Are these the actions of a government that wants peace?

According to the linked article, Israeli radio said the government did it in response to the murders of the three teenagers.
Excuse me for thinking now, after the attacks upon Gaza and this latest typical arrogant land grab, that that government is very happy for any excuse. How much are three teenagers worth within the Zionist plan? Apparently 300 acres of olive farms each.

There is no justification for murdering teenagers. Israel does it frequently but those murders get ignored by pro-Israeli media here.
As for the rockets, those were in retaliation for weeks of Israeli punitive excursions into Palestinian territory. And inasmuch as Hamas knows those rockets are almost entirely ineffective it was mostly a symbolic protestation, anyway.
