Are any of us, really?

I’ll vote for him. But no is being my answer.
I don’t know that we’ve had a repentant believer in office since Carter. And Carter was an awful president and I wouldn’t have voted for him.

can you offer some discourse/defense on the Trump claim of Christianity?
I don’t really care either way

Why is this a concern of yours?

Is Trump a faithful, practicing Christian?
I vote on policy, not feelings and religious beliefs.

He doesn’t seem like it outwardly (though obviously only he and God know the truth there), however he is absolutely the best candidate on the ballot to protect and support the rights of those of us who are Christians.

Did someone claim Trump is a devout and sanctified Christian?
I haven't heard that but I think Trump is a Believer in Jesus Christ.

I'd like to think not. To each their own, but... no. I suspect Trump is merely a very ambitious agnostic. And, frick you btw. Thanks for trolling.

All of your alters are particularly triggered this evening.
Please, carry on.

If there's anything that indicates policy over feelings, it's jamming a sign into your yard

quote:You're entitled to your opinion, but it's my vote, and my vote represents an endorsement. I believe everyone will be held accountable for all that they do one day, including the votes they cast, so I need to do all things--including who I choose vote for--for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31). If I'm abstaining from voting, I'm abstaining from voting. My lack of a vote for Trump is absolutely not a vote (or a half of a vote) for Biden. It's a lack of a vote or endorsement.
This is dumb, and disingenuous. God can and does use non-christians to further his work. I don't know if Trump is a Christian or not, but he absolutely protects our rights as believers and also the constitution. To sit this out is a half vote for Biden. Dumb.
I voted for trump in 2016 and 2020, but I've since come to the conviction that I cannot cast my vote for "the lesser of two evils" any longer (even if there are qualities I like about one of those "evils"), but should only give my tacit endorsement to representatives who I believe are giving honor to Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, both with their public profession of faith as well as their wisdom and behaviors that typify godly leaders.
While God is glorified in all sorts of circumstances (as the story of Joseph in Genesis teaches us), it's not the responsibility of the Christian to support enemies of Christ and hypocrites (those who claim to be Christians yet live lives totally devoid of the work of the Spirit of God and obedience to Christ, their Lord) in the hope that God will bless it, but to vote for leaders who expressly seek to rule wisely and justly as ones who acknowledge that they will give an account to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
There is much more I could say regarding my position, but I'll refrain for now.
