Unless the victim was holding a gun and there’s a lot more to the story, this does not look good for the homeowner. One of the key tenants of deadly self defense is you must be facing an imminent deadly force threat. Someone standing behind a closed glass door is not it unless a gun is involved.

The shooter's name is Andrew Lester, an 84 yo retired theology professor from TCU. Wrote a book titled "The Angry Christian".
No.
He's dead.

But at least you lead us to the address at 1100 NE 115 St, Kansas City, Missouri. Apparently it's owned by a 38y/o woman who's separated from her husband.

BTW, very fortunately, the head wound must not have entered the kid's brain, because he is now apparently out of the hospital. LINK

I am new to the thread - but I have looked at the TikTok video.

Did the 'shot him thru the door - then shot him again" come from that video?? because if so I would give no more credence to it than if they'd said an armadillo parachuted down dropping hand grenades. Totally unconvincing.

I have seen this narrative repeated a lot - but I have not seen a credible source for it.

So - does it have any sort of reliability - or is it another 'hands up -don't shoot!!!' type bullshite.

I said it would likely not be falsely reported because it would easily be fact checked by the police report evidence, dumbass

You probably believe that the fat cow who testified in the Trayvon Martin trial was the girl he was on the phone with, too.

Prosecutor: Working to ‘speed up process’ in review of Ralph Yarl case
By Sam Hartle
Apr 17, 2023

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Clay County, Missouri, Prosecutor’s office said Monday it is working with law enforcement to “speed up” a process to review whether charges could be filed against a shooter in the case of Ralph Yarl.

Kansas City, Missouri, police say a teen, later identified by family as Yarl, went to the wrong address in the Northland just before 10 p.m. Thursday, April 13, to pick up his siblings.

Police said someone inside the home opened fire on the teen.
