Is President Trump still intent on keeping his promise of ending birthright citizenship?

The concept of "anchor babies" HAS TO GO.
In a welfare state, such as America, all this does is create chain illegal immigration of families.

Trump can't decide.

It would have to be a repeal of the 14th amendment.

Did any trumpkins take civics I. 6th grade.

14th amendment was written to allow slaves and children of slaves equal rights and protections.

It has been misapplied by leftist USC justices since then to included those it was never written for.

It is the worst amendment when misapplied and is the source of the most fricked up decisions the courts have ever come up with.

Or the Supreme Court could grant certiorari in a contested case involving jus soli birthright citizenship and overturn its holding in U.S. vs. Wong Kim Ark. Doubt that will happen though.

Liberals claim it is, but that was not intended when the amendment was drafted. It wasn't until the 1920's that Congress passed legislation clearing up that the amendment applied to Native Americans, who were believed to be citizens of their own sovereign nations, not the United States.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the children of legal immigrants are citizens as they are "subject to the jurisdiction therein", but the SCOTUS has never ruled on the children of illegals either way. It has been presumed by the federal government that they are citizens since the 1970's. However, many conservatives believe that because they are here illegally, they are not "subject to the jurisdiction therein" of the United States because they are flaunting its immigration laws. They are still subject to the jurisdiction of their home countries. Thus, birthright citizenship should not apply to them.

We need SCOTUS to rule on this to clear up the issue once and for all.

The 14th Amendment was never legally ratified by three fourths of the states as is required by the constitution. There were 37 states in the Union at the time and only 21 states legally ratified it. It was pushed through and declared by the Secretary of State in 1868. Two northern states legislatures actually rescinded their initial action of ratification which they had legal right to do. The 14th Amendment is illegal and should have never been added to the constitution.

No it wouldn't. We can still grant the child full citizenship ... but not the parents/family. Give them the choice, take your child back across the border with you (renouncing his/her citizenship) or leave the baby here (renouncing your parental rights), we'll put them in foster care, and you'll still go back across the border.
