The rise of France's LePen and keeping France "French" as a nationalism foundation makes me think it's really a tool to accelerate globalism.

What does it mean to be French or American? There isn't a single, unanimous point of view.

There will never be consensus, so people will debate it.

So the identity can never be resolved.

People then will say, I may not be "French" but I am a human on this globe.

It creates an identity that individuals align with over arbitrary borders of countries.

No. Nationalism is tribal and pure and real and has existed as long as man has existed.

It's the one antidote to globalism and leftist "intellectualism", which is unnatural and completely learned.

Children (like animals) understand tribalism the second they are born. It is innate within them. We counterprogram them from day one recently (some necessary, but lately some harmful).

So, everything is an attempt to further globalism.

Damn. We are all screwed.

it allows people to cherish their heritage and differences instead of forcing everyone to be the same.

I don't think you have a clue what nationalism is.

That is ---technically true-- but every civilization who embraced nationalism fell apart.

It's been a negative for thousand of years.

Give an example of an American nationalist idea?

Is Black Lives Matters an American national concept?

The original "America First" by Lindbergh in effort to keep us out of WWII.

Would have been much better world if we had stayed out and we had defended our fleet at Pearl Harbor instead of cucking out to financiers and creating our mil ind complex which has owned us all for 60 years now.

If they are making EVERYTHING a conspiracy, how is it any different than having no conspiracy? Wouldn't it all be just for shits and giggles at that point?

Funny how that is now a "nationalist" view.

globalism is already here. It's not going away. There is nothing that can be done to turn it back.

There is too much at stake for too many people. And the people that hate globalism, benefit from it. You think people are going to stop wanting cheap technology? Cheap clothing? Ability to easily travel. A wide variety assortment of international goods.

NOPE.

It's here, it's here to stay.

It can be delayed and stalled and modified to be the least oppressive yoke possible through Patriotic resistance.

Should Winston have just given up? WE BREATHE, THEREFORE WE FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOMS.
