Is Mexico the most failed nation in world history?

Borders the wealthiest most powerful country world has ever seen, ample coastline, envious tourist competitive advantages, bountiful natural resources, etc.
It's a failed nation, period. And I blame the Catholic Church for owning most of the land for much of the Country's history and not doing anything with it
Despite NAFTA, which massively favored Mexico, the Mexican middle class actually earns less than they did 15 years ago

I have started several threads over the years on this topic. I'm surprised this doesn't get more attention. Instead of their leaders bitching about Trump, perhaps they should try to make their country better.
How bizarre is it for a sovereign nation to complain that a neighbor won't let it's citizens flee the shithole they live in?
How about make your country less of a shithole.
The real issue that no one talks about is that Mexico is basically apartheid South Africa. It's not a black/white issue so it doesn't get the attention, but the ruling class and the wealthy elites in Mexico are white Europeans and the ones that leave for the United States are indigenous. The elites don't want them anyway and want them to leave to become the burden of the United States.

Jonestown is the most failed.
Bolivia, Columbia, Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, etc. They all have major problems. They are all better than Somalia.
Mexico probably wasn't engaged in the industrial expansion that established the middle class in the US after WW2.

So you're just going to ignore the anti-Catholic government that's been in power in Mexico since the '20s? That caused a civil war where the US intervened on behalf of the anti-Catholic government? That when the Mexicans finally threw out said government during the W Bush administration, the US put said anti-Catholic government back in power?
