Human evolution took place over millions of years.

Men and women are biologically/genetically different. We are good/bad at different things. (Men are good at everything and women are good at cooking, cleaning, and being whores).

Different races are biologically/genetically different. We are good/bad at different things.

This idea that everyone is equal is utter nonsense. We are not equal. Equality doesn't exist. Equality of opportunity, not of outcome.

MAGA.

Equality of opportunity is possible and desirable, equality of circumstance is nonsensical authoritarianism that is proposed by losers.

All men are created equal IN THE EYES OF HIS CREATOR. Liberals love to omit that second part

If all men were equal, I would be able to run the 100 meter in 9.6 seconds like Usain Bolt.

I know this board hates him, but I thought Paul Ryan summed it up most realistically from a political perspective in his VP announcement:

Transcript: Ryan Makes First Remarks As VP Choice
quote:

We promise equal opportunity, not equal outcomes.
It would be great if science and technology can allow those with disadvantages to close a gap, but that's way beyond anything government can do. And it's an idealistic utopia that SOCIETY can strive for, without worrying the government's inefficiencies.

But government must function in reality and efficiency within the here and now. And that's hard enough for it as it is.

So if equality is an ideal, then the reality is that government should focus on making sure the opportunities are equal since it is realistically much more controllable. And frankly that usually means government needs to get out of the way.

Can you run faster than some fat guy or handicapped person you know?

If so, you're more equaler than them and you need to start feeling gooder about yourself.

Less substance than a mirage. Or swamp gas.equality is a noble ideal, but an ungovernable lie nonetheless.

Obviously "the creator" leads to a common interpretation of God, but I think the phrase is purposefully vague.

Part of me thinks it's because they recognized the differences in beliefs but the importance in a sort of "blank slate."

The other part of me realizes that they were about to go to war with an Empire, so it wasn't a good time to exclude any person who may have different belief in creation.

Everybody starts out laying around pooping in their drawers but it is not long before they differentiate themselves.

Does anybody actually believe politicians (or at least 90%) of them DON'T think of themselves as a class above?

That includes liberal politicians who spout the everybody is equal bullshite most often.

Only in theory. Even equality of opportunity is a myth. If you're born in the middle to upper class you have a much better opportunity to succeed. Plus gotta love the sexism you're spewing.

Equality is never going to happen and quite possibly if it even could happen, would be terrible for the human race.

For a civilized society to function we cannot all be equal.
We need different levels of skills to operate and compensation is drastically different as it should be.

As far as sexes, men and women should embrace what they've historically been good at for thousands of years.

In this day and age the only difference between men and women are jobs that require some sort of physical requirement. As far as intelligence goes women are just as smart as men.

Um, er, uh, hate to burst your bubble but the great Chefs are men and you've obviously never cleaned a bathroom used by women.

Equality is an ideal, one worth striving for, but it is unattainable. We should have equal opportunity and everyone should be treated equally before a court, but other than that, inequality is a fact of life. Some humans a better than others at certain things. Further, this is not limited to humans as it occurs in every species.

I'm all for people understanding that there are biological, social, and evolutionary differences between the sexes.

That being said, society has also changed and the corresponding demands as well. So while they doesn't mean the general strengths and weaknesses of the sexes has changed, it seems ridiculous to negate the societal changes.

In other words, what does your post even mean?

Yea, I don't get that either as far as the sexes go. In a work setting that is dependent on intelligence women should have every right to do it if they have the smarts. Doesn't mean every woman can but then again neither could every man. Neither sex has some inherent advantage when it comes to intelligence.

Equality is a mathematical concept.

That's it.
