It's almost as though the media had some kind of vested interest to suppress these findings in order to advance some kind of agenda...

sure as hell aren't any nuclear weapons like the retard said they had in his state of the union address.

Too easy. Saddam said many times throughout his career that he would like Iraq to have a nuclear weapon. Correct?

In the state of the Union Bush included Iraq in the "Axis of evil" which he claimed were countries involved in terrorism and as seeking WMDs such as nuclear weapons. Correct?

Impossible. They have no agenda. Pure as the driven snow. Just searching for the truth no matter where it takes them.

I swear we need Petraeus as President. We need someone who thoroughly knows the terrain inside each country/ region. The globe is just too complex.

Republican adulterers are ineligible to be President - didn't you get the memo?

Only if that someone has the right racial/ethnic background and/or gender to satisfy diversity requirements. Competence is way, way down the list of requirements.

Amen, brother. Amen. Infinitely more complex than, "Bush is bad. Hope and change."

Bush failed to get the SOFA in place?

Damn...he's good.

Convinces WJC and the rest of the world Iraq had WMDs in the late 90s (you've seen/heard the quotes)

Continues to wreck the economy despite having not been President since 1/2009.

And commits foreign policy blunders despite having no ability to shape it.

He's pretty damned powerful!

So what are these weapons?????????????
A couple of leftover rounds from the 80's, not part of a stockpile. You would know this if you read other articles, and I am guessing the you DO know this but are being intellectually dishonest.

Except a CIA report describes "stockpiles" sealed in bunkers - 2004.

That can't be true, because we know that Field Marshal Obama's Awesome Air Campaign has eliminated ISIS and destroyed their military capability.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !!

The Green Zone has been mortared before - many times. My sister worked in the US Embassy there when we had thousands of troops in Iraq and mortars came quite often. She heard "duck & cover" in her sleep. As a matter of fact, many embassy personnel had to stay overnight in their offices because they were safer than their personal quarters. I believe she told me she slept on a couch for over a month.

The Green Zone has been peppered on a regular basis. The biggest problems after we left was the visa process for diplomats etc.. For example, the state department had extra protection sent for Biden or Hillary their protection couldn't get credentialed. Basically if you were caught outside the Green Zobe without immunity then you were put in jail with no due proces. So, our diplomatic security agents protecting diplomats were put in a bad situation under fire. It got to a point where they were going to shoot down Iraq security if they came after them and that goes for the Green Zone check points.

The Green Zone did get mortared a lot, but back in the day, it was actually coming mostly from Shi'a areas (Sadr City, Khadimiyah, and some other similar areas). I'd be extremely surprised if that were the case at the moment.

The far, far more worrisome threat at the moment for Baghdad is BIAP. That place is only about 15 or 20 km from where ISIS now is in Abu Ghraib, and it's a straight shot without much between Abu Ghraib and the airport. They are easily within artillery and mortar range. You are effectively cutting off the single biggest artery of logistical and economic support for the city (and probably all of Iraq) if you take that. I am pretty sure those Apache's are coming out of BIAP as well. If BIAP were to collapse, that whole country (and our personnel therein) would be seriously fricked.

When was the last time it had been mortored?

frick if I know, could have been last year. I'm just saying that Shi'a militiamen taking potshots at U.S. and coalition forces from or near their own neighborhoods and ISIS/ISIL firing on the Green Zone (or BIAP, as another poster suggested) are such different things, of such different severity that you cannot imagine.
