Inner city violence, and how to get rid of it.

Honestly, is there anything that could get rid of inner city violence and crime besides the military coming in and removing criminals?
Change starts at the home, but do you really think they're gonna do anything to change things at home? You would think they would need self-responsibility to fix things, but they're never going to be responsible for anything that could change their lives. They are gonna bitch and moan for the govt. to come in and ""solve their problems", but it would be a waste for the government to pump money into "community outreach" and "youth programs", just to give an excuse to parents not to parent.
The only thing they need is a dose of hard reality and military policing (cause local police obviously cant handle it) to fix their problems, thats the only thing that will fix it.

As long as we aren't racist and bring up the racist fact fact that in most inner-cities the black out-of-wedlock rate exceeds 90% we shouldn't have a problem.

Most of the violence is due to black market trading. Eliminate black markets and most violence will only be due to crimes of passion or the inherently violent.
That doesn't solve all "inner city" problems, but it eliminates much of the violence.

No. It took years to create this disaster though handouts and these people are not capable of being productive citizens. The people I feel sorry for are the poor people that have to live among them that are really good people. Everyone in the hood is not a terrible person and I would say that most are really good people that are just poor. I would be for helping people without crimes and felonies on their record move out and leave the trash behind to do what they wish.

Inner City violence has been going on since the days of Al Capone in Chicago having running automatic machine gun battles in the streets.
The murder rate in Chicago is similar to 1929-30 ish.
If they haven't solved the issue now I doubt whether disingenuous posters on a message board shall( this one in particular).
In the 1930's they banned Automatic weapons ( gun control) & repealed Prohibition.
Ending the War on drugs is a beginning.

Seriously though, it'll take ending the drug war, ending government handouts, and lots of incentives for birth control/sterilization. Nothing will keep a poor person poor like having kids. And I do think programs to educate and mentor etc are good.

End the War on Drugs. Replace the black markets which spawn black market violence, with legitimate free commerce. The gangs will lose their funding, the junkies will get their treatment, Washington will get its taxes, and the violence will precipitously decline, as it did in the wake of the end of prohibition in the 1930's. Without the easy black market income, the mobs declined rapidly in power and influence, resorting to semi-legitimacy with Casinos, unions, and construction businesses. Free-er markets will mean a less violent people.
So to sum:
1. Full legalization, taxation, and regulation of ALL drugs. Replacing criminal sanction for addicts with treatment.
2. End of all federal entitlements.
3. Replacing all federal taxes with the FAIR Tax.
4. Legalization and regulation of prostitution and gambling.
5. Reduce the age of consent for all contracts (including those for the purchase and sale of alcohol, gambling, stripping, and prostitution) to 18.
6. Complete renovation of our k-12 education system to reinstate corporal punishment, create trade school tracks, and teach actual skills rather than just how to answer multiple choice standardized tests.
7. Outlawing the unionization of all public employees.
8. Allow hospital ER's to turn away non-emergency patients, forcing them to go to urgent care clinics.
So to sum:

Money has to be gathered from the state to fix some of the systemic issues, like crumbling schools and neighborhoods.
