too many men don't realize the risk each and every pregnancy has to women and are far too willing to let them risk their lives even when faced with multiple complications. Every pregnancy puts a woman's life at risk, no matter how well it's going.
bonkers, everyone knows pregnancies can be risky.

This attitude is certainly demeaning to women and their analysis of their own risk and the fact these risks have been weighed prior to pregnancy. And I have never seen a man want his wife in jeopardy to save the baby unless the couple agreed to it. I would imagine 99% of women are more willing to accept additional risk of a pregnancy complication than their partner.

And I would imagine that one percent who doesn't accept it is grateful to have the choice to abort if she desires.

Actually I do understand the risk my friend. I have two kids. They tried to convince my wife to abort our son. With my oldest she hemorrhaged and almost bled out. She was in the ICU for about 7-8 days (can't remember exactly). She did the same on the second one but not as bad - no ICU stay.

While I didn't carry a baby I saw the strength that my wife showed. And the risks that she went through. There was no way she was not having her baby. Maybe not all women feel the same. And every situation is different. But because of her I have two beautiful healthy kids. She could have just gave em up.

with there being such a small percentage, why don't you stop painting your argument with such a broad brush. Seems more reasonable.

It might take 20 years or so, but you'll soon realize those kids are the reason for your existence.

They make life worth living. One is 10 and the other is 6. There are good times and bad. And I imagine there will be better times and worse times. But I am very grateful.

Being okay with adult females dying just to save that precious life within her isn't reasonable.

All the women in my family(immediate, aunts, cousins, etc) would prefer dying if the baby lives. Rather than kill the baby so that they can live. 2 of them were advised to have abortions because of risk of death and both decided without hesitation to have the babies. Everyone is/was 100% healthy.

My parents were told by 2 different doctors that I would be Downs and to abort me. It never crossed their mind to follow that suggestion. I am 100% normal.

Abortion is murder. Period. They are human beings, and they can feel pain. Angers me to no end.

As a conservative Christian I would trade allowing gay marriage for no abortion all day every day.

But here is the beauty of that story.

she had a CHOICE.

If the only reason you trudge through your life is for your kid's existence...you are doing it wrong.

Once again, the beautiful part of this story is...

...they had a CHOICE.

No actually it isn't.

My personal religious beliefs and my constitutional beliefs are two different things. You being you wouldn't understand that.

There is a much stronger argument for gay marriage being allowed constitutionally than abortion. I will discourage both, and call them both sin. However one has killed over 100,000,000 people worldwide, one has not.

You sir are truly an ignorant pieces of feces.
Didn't Ohio just have a doctor who was flushing these late terms down the toilet and making jokes like "I could have walked that one to school. Har har har.". And there we have it folks, the tolerant left, everyone please stand and applaud. What fricking douches some of you are , hey let's save this poor guilty murderer from death row because he had an unhappy childhood but down the road at the PP let's rip out late term babies cuz their mama doesn't wanna miss out on any fun nights. Good job way to keep the streets safe by letting the innocent convicted murders go and killing the unwanted babies.

Two points.

With modern medicine, the risk of death to a mother who carries the child to term is incredibly small. It's currently about .00011% in the U.S.

Second, that risk is known from the moment of conception making the need for late-term abortions not existent.
