Ingeniero's list of winners and losers

Winners
The internet - online communities will have to be taken into much higher consideration after this election. It's been shown (imo) that huge online communities can have even the slightest chance of influencing public opinion and the election, and sometimes all you need is the slightest sway to win.
Blue collar workers - their voices were heard this election. By flipping WI, MI, PA, OH, and nearly MN, Trump has allowed the working class to speak and let the nation know that they aren't happy with the way they've been treated.
Political underdogs - now that a chink in the political armor has been exposed more outsiders can wade their way into politics. Hopefully candidates like Rand can use this to their advantage and mount successful campaigns in the future.
Conservatives - this one isn't an argument over if Trump is a liberal or not. Regardless, if Hillary would have won, her policies would've created a climate that would stack the deck in the Democrats' favor, perhaps irreparably.
Julian Assange - Trump winning probably saved his life. Literally.
Losers
The media - after months of biased reporting it came back to bite them. Viewership is down, trust in the media is at an all time low, and people are sick of their rhetoric.
Pollsters - their models can promptly be scrapped. Nate Silver, especially, has had his reputation tarnished (pun intended). By refusing to take into account certain factors in this election, I truly believe they were trying to suppress turnout and influence opinion, and they've made themselves look foolish. Less consideration will be given to their opinions in future races.
The establishment - both left and right. They've been shown that the people don't want a government that tries to tell them what to want. And now that the curtain has been pulled back on corruption, people will think twice about trusting them. If Trump follows through with draining the swamp, "politician" will no longer be a career, just like our founding fathers intended.
George Soros - this old bastard can keep dumping money into losing battles for as long as he wants, I hope his fortune dries up and his descendants are left penniless and powerless.

I'm no silver fan, but wasn't he one of the only pollsters giving trump even a punchers chance leading up to the election?

Yes, Nate silver said trump had about a 30% chance and was fighting liberals on it. I don't know why people hate him so much for what he does. If the polls themselves are wrong that isn't on silver but the pollsters

Yes, I totally agree, and said that was one of the biggest reasons we need Trump to win.
Hopefully Trump's victory will bring a lot of good, talented people out of the woodwork who see that it's possible to win without being "part of the club."

Yes. I'm still not much of a fan, but in his defense during the days leading up to the election he was basically saying that something just didn't feel right about the numbers and was getting slammed over it.
Huffington Post called him out and directly accused him of "putting his finger on the scale" to make the election look closer than it really was. The HuffPro author has since tweeted an apology.

While that's a nice sentiment, it just isn't going to happen on a large scale.
Trump won because he had the right message, but he wasn't the only candidate with that message.
What separated Trump from the crowd was (1) he already had incredible name recognition. (2) he had the ability to self fund most of his campaign. The establishment hated him from the start. If he wasn't a billionaire willing to spend his own money, he would have never gotten out of the gate.

I believe that's why it says in the OP

That's kind of the point. Now that Trump has won, it may change things. It certainly proved that the American people have no problem electing a political novice, which is unprecedented in modern U.S. politics.

Another loser... Gun/Ammo dealers. They stood to make a fortune after a Hillary win.

No lie, I typed up a section for that exact reason but then deleted it
