Open By Easter (The states are more incharge to make decisions currently. this is just a rally call.)

Did you listen to the townhall, or just became outraged because Karen on Facebook told you to be?

He hopes to be open by Easter. Hopes! So do I. Don’t read too much into it.

Trump needs to signal first that it's safe. Trump makes the orders, and the lockdowns will continue a week or two.

He doesn't really make the orders on that. It is up to individual state governors to make that call. I am sure they are doing in concert with the feds but ultimate control lies with the states.

You don’t understand nuance.

His point was that there has to be a balancing act between when to reopen economy and fighting the virus

Are we going to wait until it no longer exists? That is months and months and months away.

I agree on the balancing act. Its got to be tough as shite on our leaders to be weighing lives lost/ vs economic damage (and the lives lost in that as well) but I dont see nuance in his words or tone. I see him vacillating from one position to another in a matter of weeks on how serious of a threat this virus is to our citizens. He doesnt choose his words wisely and I know you guys love him for his off the cuff nature. Sometime its refreshing....but not now.

I know but no Governor is going to balk the trend and open things back up before GEOTUS does.

Just checked Louisiana and Mississippi coronavirus sites...

Louisiana has 16 parishes without a case reported.

Mississippi has 22 counties without a case reported.

If this trend holds, wouldn't it make sense to turn them back on sooner?

WI didn't go to a shelter at home order because the Fed's suggested it.

It's because the dem governor is a moron.

If was me I'd say open Monday. 50 million people died in the 1918 flu pandemic with 675,000 in the U.S. Swine flu deaths estimates up to 16,000. And according to the CDC approximately 36,000 die annually from the flu.
All this reaction to COVI-19 is purely political and total BS.

You see people like you believe the following:
1) Trump is stupid.
2) Trump lies 99% of the time.
3) Trump is dangerous cause he is stupid and takes no advice from anyone. Therefore, since he is stupid, he makes terrible statements that are hopeful but total lies.

Is that about right Shane?
