You would still be wrong. The closest you'll probably find is Southern Whites in Mississippi who voted for Romney in 2012, but even then, twice as many whites in Mississippi voted for Obama than blacks voted for Romney, Nationally.

This thread is a perfect example of why this forum absolutely sucks at times. Instead of debating what a poster has actually said, certain other posters stoop to purposely taking comments out of context, twisting words around, and even attributing comments to a particular poster that he/she didn't even say. I'll give a few examples from this thread alone, and then you jerks who purposely misrepresent things can have this complete abortion of a thread:

(1) ztrongsafety, I never called you a racist. That was a complete fabrication from Vegas Bengal, and then you were apparently only too happy to accept his word as gospel. What I did do was refer to your implication that Thomas Duncan had received substandard care because he was black, which you absolutely did do, and I further said that your mindset on that was also being echoed by black people in DFW who were commenting publicly on the matter.

(2) strongsafety, in the future please try to keep the arguments straight regarding with whom you are arguing. I have not made a single comment about voting patterns in this entire thread, yet I see where you are demanding that I explain myself on that. That's ridiculous.

(3) Vegas Bengal, I posted the YouTube video regarding Oprah Winfrey's comments, where she slanders older white people and says in a very dramatic tone, "they just need to die." How in the world could anybody be okay with that? She is slandering millions and millions of good people who don't deserve to be unfairly insulted by the likes of her. Some of them are WWII vets, and some are slightly younger, but I can't even begin to fathom how anybody can be okay with that hateful, racist sentiment. You might not like me calling her what she is, but if the shoe fits.....

(4) and last but not least, to sfp. I resent you referring to either me or anything I've said in this thread as "low hanging fruit." Be a man, for once, and point out anything I've said in this thread that would warrant such a derisive comment. Not any distortions by Vegas Bengal but something I actually said.

You know, I've been holding back from saying this for awhile, but you have almost 300K posts on this forum. Dude, you are way too concerned about your image on an anonymous message board. I don't appreciate you unfairly throwing me under the bus just to appease some crockpot like Vegas Bengal. Most conservatives here have had him figured out for years, but you apparently never got the memo.

If you or anybody disagrees with me that Oprah Winery's comments were racist, that's fine with me. If you or anybody disagrees with me that implying that the notion Thomas Duncan received substandard care because he was black is absurd, then that's fine, too. But the point is, those are the two topics I've discussed in this thread. Everything else was misrepresentations by other posters.

I think I'm done with this thread. You know, it's really a shame that some posters here can't confine themselves to discussing what has actually been said. This thread is a prime example of that.

Now, by all means, let's have some of the usual suspects follow this up with more lies, misrepresentations, and distortions.

Kind of like inventing quotes for other people to fit your agenda? You're the only one to do that in this thread.
