And doesn't Jackson have a point here ( a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile ) the doctors brought back from Africa got the super treatment team and lived, this guy from Liberia dies.

I have no problem with the government going the extra mile to save the doctors and nurses who volunteer to work on the front lines of the Ebola epidemic if they contract Ebola. In the overall scheme of things, their lives are worth more than the lives of people who aren't willing to sacrafice their lives for such a dangerous mission, because folks like them are needed to stop the epidemic.

It's that simple.

Yep.

At least Strong Safety has recognized how harmful it is to the black population as a whole to vote overwhelmingly on way. It ensures that there is an incentive (in this case by the democratic party) to keep the black population "on the plantation" (i.e. lower income and government dependent).

How do you explain Jews, Hispanics and Asians?

So then you would agree that it is harmful for the white male population in the South as a whole to vote overwhelmingly one way?

As usual, Vegas Bengal, you conveniently sweep some pertinent facts under the rug. Why is it that you can never respond to the actual substance of what is being said. Regarding a couple of inaccuracies in your shallow post, allow me to respond:

(1) First of all, with regards to your implication that it's absurd to refer to Oprah Winfrey as a racist, allow me to repeat the most convincing argument in favor of me telling the truth about her. About a year ago, Oprah Winfrey said that "older white people just need to die." VB, in what universe is that not a clearly racist statement? If someone had said that older black people just need to die, the news networks and the internet would've blown up.

"Older white people just need to die." VB, I dare you to respond specifically to that outrageous comment, and tell me it isn't racist. I'm sure you will continue to sidestep what she actually said, because you almost never speak to the substance of anything that doesn't fit your narrative.

(2) I didn't call strongsafety a racist. SS is accusing medical professionals of giving Thomas Duncan substandard care because he was black. I was simply telling the board that, sadly, SS's mindset on this matter is not atypical of black people here in DFW who have spoken out about this. They think Thomas Duncan was a hero, courageous, and that he was absolutely given less than optimal treatment because he was black.

Obviously, VB, I dont expect you to have an honest discussion about either of these two matters. You almost never do.

I never said it was absurd. You're lying. I said every black person referred to on this board who is not a republican, you have called racist. Every one. Winfrey was the latest. And I have no idea what Winfrey said about white people (since you lie so much I don't trust you on anything) but whatever she said, you've said worse. No doubt. So that must make you a....?

Actually you accused black people of doing what you do... call people of other races racist.

Actual quote:

quote:

You know, as long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south - there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.

Little bit different, wouldn't you say?

Aw, c'mon man. This board wouldn't be nearly as entertaining if people used legitimate quotes.

Or if people's thread titles were accurate. Or 'statistics' used in posts.

Once again, VB, you dont have the guts to respond to what I actually posted. It is a waste of time to discuss anything with you, because you are a coward.

As for UPT, are you actually implying that Oprah wasn't talking about white people? The interviewer specifically asked her to confirm her statement about older WHITE people, and she repeated, "They just need to die."

Nice try, though.

No, I'm implying that you misquoted someone to push your agenda because you're a hack.

You make ridiculous statements like black people are racists attempting to cover your obvious racism. Your posts are all over the place, it's impossible to argue with someone who would make Benji seem like Mensa. Your posts are full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. They're tales told by an idiot.

You post in thread after thread like a dog chasing his tail. You don't know the purpose. You don't know why. You just have this unexplainable desire to keep doing it. And you look like an idiot and you accomplish nothing.

I'm trying to post this YouTube video via my phone, so it may or may not work. This is the interview itself. Earlier in the interview, Winfrey talks about terrorism committed against black people, so it is clear that she is talking about white people when she is talking about an older generation and saying, "They just need to die.". Anybody with an IQ above room temperature can figure that out....if they want to. Why would she have been talking about terrorism committed against black people, and then be implying that older black people need to die?

I know you'll wig out on a technicality, VB, but practically everyone else here will be able to see it.

You're the liar, VB. You will NEVER talk specifics. Just like when I asked you to acknowledge that the eyewitnesses to the Ferguson shooting had been proven to be liars because they said Brown was shot while he was running away, and the autopsy proved that wrong right off the bat.

Must really suck to have to lie all the time in order to avoid discussing the actual facts of a matter.

No I'm not accusing them of giving him bad care because he is black.

What I meant was that there are hundreds of stats out there that show black people didn't get adequate care hundreds of years ago, 50 years ago, and today. Am I racist for stating a fact ? Or does this fact bother you, because you rather live your life in a reality where health disparities don't exist. If it fits your narrative, then do it, but I'll be damn sure to know that you are ignorant.

I previously said the family had every right to be suspicious. Do I think that was the case tho? No, I think the incompetency of those healthcare professionals failed him. That's malpractice, not a civil rights suit.

Also please explain why it's not okay for blacks to vote monolithicly but it's okay for white males to do so? I'm interested in seeing your reason

well it's not really similar

you're dealing with a secondary division of population with the W/M issue, and i don't think the stats back up the claim

if you add a tertiary variable (being southern), then i think the stats get similar

do you have the stats? i still don't think it's 90%+ nationally

and it's still 3 variables (race, sex, age) compared to 1 (race)
