Hennepin County sheriff endorses bill for driver's licenses for immigrants here illegally
Hennepin County Sheriff Dave Hutchinson has become the first law enforcement official in Minnesota to publicly endorse a bill that would allow people living in the state illegally to get a driver’s license.
Hutchinson, who made the issue a campaign priority during his successful campaign last year against longtime Sheriff Rich Stanek, agreed to testify this week at a committee hearing in support of legislation to allow individuals to get a driver’s license or state ID card without proof of legal status in the United States.

You're using the wrong approach to break this down by race. Take a look at the women's vote in that election, and you will see that they overwhelmingly supported Omar.
Never underestimate the women's vote and their propensity to support candidates based on sex, race, or good looks, rather than policy.

I went to public school in a rural conservative northern Minnesota town, and from my experience, you are correct about social studies. From elementary to high school it was nothing more than a rehash of whitey stealing land from the peaceful Indians, whitey owning slaves, whitey putting Japanese people in internment camps, whitey killing Jewish people in the holocaust, and whitey spraying hoses at peaceful protestors during the civil rights movement. Atrocities committed by others were glossed over or simply omitted altogether. It was straight up indoctrination to create a white guilt/savior complex. So I guess you all have to understand that when trying to make sense of our pants-on-head-r******d election outcomes.

According to the people I know from MN, EVERY R is horrible, no matter what.
They tow the Progressive line very well.
Full of white guilt, which is amazing considering they grew up in areas that are still 90%+ white.
