He won't be impeached but nothing in his agenda will be done without him giving away massive graft and favors.

He has lost all leverage he ever had.

It won't be, so no need to ponder it.

IF it is 100% true, yes, that's textbook obstruction of justice and absolutely abuse of the power of the President.

However at this time, that's a big IF and we will have to wait and see what pans out.

This is the problem. The quote doesn't even say what the media claims it does. But now that's the story

Yes, because I felt it should have happened with the last president that Trump replaced.

I guess Hillary would've come into office with no leverage then... seeing that her husband, a previous POTUS, met with the lead investigator on a tarmac to discuss how to make it go away.

Pretty much the same thing right? And we know the Clintons actually did this.

What would be something is if not only he told Comey that, but Comey also told him in that same setting that he's isn't part of the investigation at all.
If both of those statements were recorded I would honestly laugh my arse off.

He would be the first person in the history of the politics to help out a friend!

So I assume no one has had a ticket taken care of before??????

It's not impeachable. Asking and telling are two different things.

No

Frankly given the political games Democrats are playing I wouldn't vote for impeachment if there was a video of Trump strangling Chuck Schumer to death in the Oval Office.

That's not even what's being reported.

No. The POTUS is in charge of the FBI. The FBI is part of the executive branch and does not perform "checks and balances" on the president. That is the job of Congress and the SCOTUS.

Every president has directed the FBI and I guarantee you Trump is not the only one to tell the FBI not investigate this or that. Do you think Hussein Obama didn't do the same thing? Do you think Hussein didn't have conversations with Comey about Hillary's e-mail? Loretta fricking Lynch met Bill on the tarmac.

(BTW, there is no evidence whatsoever that Trump "told" Comey to back off).
