If I knew nothing about America other than its tv commercials

I’d think the majority of the country were mixed couples and gays. These commercials are getting hilarious.

Maybe they’re just trying to suggest to us all that we branch out a little and try some different flavors. If you a vanilla guy, get you a scoop of chocolate. If you’re chocolate, be it dark chocolate, milk chocolate or even the awkward white chocolate - buy you a scoop or two of vanilla, in a waffle bowl if you like a little extra excitement. We all have the same gear. Well, that gets into some complicated territory, we’ll save that discussion for later.

The forced gayness in everything Hollywood has completely jumped the shark. I’ve seen shows with nothing but gay couples in them and no heterosexual relationships. It’s insane

I think the gays must have realized that they would be doomed to extinction and reached out to include the trannys. They needed some men that could get pregnant.

yeah - it is getting ridiculous.
I noted years ago that only white men could ever be defeated by trying to handle a garden hose, or burglarize homes - and that only women could solve household decision making problems - and dozens of other situations where the men are stooges and mostly blacks are the problem solvers or leaders.
White men who are seen in a positive or leadership position are usually those advertising their own businesses.
This should make a good project for some future cultural-change analysis.

It’s a major test of willpower for me to view commercials and remain optimistic about our Nation and peoples. I genuinely leap for the remote. The Roku “screamers “ really push buttons. Ha. Whine whine. Until I think of my Grandkids. Sad that our culture has become so petty when life is so wondrous. And the challenges so great.

Like the commercial featuring the hideously ugly, skinny white man losing his mind over his phone needing to be changed while his calm/cool/collected wife and kids mock him and stare at him in disbelief.

Demand Wilson (Lamont of Sanford & Son) had said years ago that tv shows and commercials were consciously going out of their way in portraying men...patriarchs of families in semi buffoonish light. He said it started with Norman Lear and Archie Bunker and George Jefferson.... and even Fred G. Sanford.....and he also mentioned Al Bundy. The lack of respect for the father figure had convinced him to get out of the TV business
He was concerned and troubled that these portrayals were conscious and intentional.

You would also think from home security company commercials that most break ins come from white men.
