Does Congress have final say?
How likely is it that Hillary could still be sworn in as President in January?
Don't give me emotional responses...give me realistic responses.

0% chance. Think of it this way, the ones protesting and whining right now hate guns. So all they can do is cry tears and flood the streets with tear and vagina juice.
The other side is huge in 2nd amendment rights, they aren't going to try to do anything to steal it from Trump.

About as likely as SpidermanTuba having a love child with Ivanka Trump.

If this happens, we'll show these whining arse snowflakes what a fricking protest and riot is supposed to look like.

The house has to certify the EC so no chance. Zero.

Yeah. If you think the tards melting down now are bad, wait until the armed backbone of America makes their voice heard.

Seriously, ladies...could this crap potentially happen?

No, Clinton supporters have just reached the bargaining stage of grief.

quote:No. EC results have to be certified by a joint session of Congress in early January. During the joint session, members can object to the votes of an individual elector or of a state as a whole.

If there is an objection, the two chambers split and consider the objection separately. They then reconvene and compare results - if both chambers agree to the objection(s) that/those vote(s) are thrown out. If they do not agree the vote(s) is/are counted.
You aren't going to see enough (if any) electors flip from Trump, but if you did, the votes wouldn't count for Hillary. Neither would get to 270, so the election would go to Congress - House for President, Senate for VP - and the result would be the same as it is now.

Congress can't overturn an elector's vote, but it ain't happening. Remember 2000 after Florida? All sorts of people were talking about getting to a couple of electors and getting them to switch to Gore...and then Bush only had two to spare.

So are you saying it could happen?

we would actually be wronged, not just upset.
These crying Libs would see what real protest looks like.

No. Congress can't overturn their vote. My point is that in 2000 there was a much greater concern that the left could get a couple of electors to not be loyal to the vote....called faithless electors. It never happened.

There is maybe one elector who changes their vote each election. Some elections there are zero changes.
There have been like 8 people change their votes combined over the past 100 years.
Trump is like 38 votes over the mark of 270. There is virtually a zero percent chance 39 people change their vote.
