Your idea that someone would be drafted to fight for anything resembling Nazi Germany in this country. You sound like a Democrat.

That's an oversimplification. I'm saying people who were soldiers in Nazi Germany are not any different than people today. We have not evolved since the 1940s. If you don't think people can be brainwashed, act without thinking, and commit great atrocities while not taking any personal responsibility for the outcome then you're smoking crack. So, get it right. I'm not saying America will be Nazi's. I'm saying people are being manipulated. Don't be one of those people.

If the mainland of the US was attacked by an invading army/nation the military would flip their progressive recruiting on a dime and go back to recruiting the people that could actually win.

But as many have said you wouldn’t have to have a draft. There would probably also be a lot of underground civilian militia groups form up to defend local areas. Occupying forces would face resistance like they’ve never seen from baws that have better equipment than most militaries.

I would be fighting with the mindset of my love for family, friends, my hometown, etc.

I would not be fighting for love of the people running shite in DC. They’ve already made a mockery of our form of government so I couldn’t even say I would be fighting for that anymore.

Speaking of oversimplification...

I know what you're saying, and I'm saying you're wrong.

I already served this country voluntarily. Do you think I was manipulated in to doing that?

I get it. You just learned something super edgy and you're excited. Your ideas and fantasies aren't real-world, friend.

WTF are you talking about? I didn't just learn something edgy. WTF is so edgy about it? This is where I am in my thinking after over 50 years on this planet, studying the subject, and having spoken with both Holocaust survivors and Germans who lived through it. By the way, both of those groups informed my position and it's where they ended up on the subject as well. Why the frick are you so willing to blindly believe an obviously compromised government with questionable motives?

Good. Hopefully they told you why they love this country. If they did, and you still don't get my point, you never will.

I agreed with all of the reasons they loved this country, just as I loved her.
They wouldn't love this country today. I love the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I hate what our government is doing to them.

And if you still don't get my point, you never will.

Good luck in New Hampshire with the gun hating liberals if war comes.

Father of an active-duty, deployed in a war zone airman here.

It’s a free country (for now) and that means one can conscientiously object, if they so choose. That’s one of those things for which others have fought and died.

I’d only say this: barely 1% of our population serves in any capacity in the military.

99%, by definition, includes a vast majority who have no direct experience in military service but continue to benefit from the sacrifices of those that do…
