If my home is under actual threat from an outside actor, yeah

which is a very different question than the usual "would you let your kids serve in today's military" scenario

The politicians that drag us into war should go to the front first, along with their families. Draft should apply to their supporters only.

I would. I'm too old to hump a ruck for 10 clicks, then fight with a rifle. I can drive a truck or fix shite if they need me to though.

Cool. I doubt very much that I'd like anyone raised by you or anyone raised by people raised by you.

Not really.

The populists just claim that it is.

If you avoid intervention the way the populists want to, the fight will eventually come to our front door. It will simply delay it.
