So he was arrested for felony arson and you think he fell asleep next to a campfire? I doubt the sheriff believes that. I read his statement and he glossed over the arrest while vehemently claiming that ICE detainers are unconstitutional.
The sheriff is covering his arse and might be destroying evidence against this illegal, as we speak, to further his claim.
