Savage was quoted in a breitbart article today as getting very upset over it. I don't get it. Priebus was pretty fair and supported trump through everything I can remember. Trump values loyalty pretty highly, and has shown he is quite ready to fire someone if he needs to.

What better way to secure the cucks in the house/senate than have Priebus be on your arm, demanding they bend the knee?

Yeah, I don't get it either. Especially from Stone. Weird.

Savage doesn't necessarily represent the right.

Well, on the surface, you have a guy who ran as an anti-establishment candidate pick as his COS just about the most establishment person possible. That's gonna piss people off. Doesn't matter to me...he needs to have experienced politicos around him. I remember the Jimmy Carter White House.

I am starting to get a sense that the same chucklefricks who demand ideological purity are the ones demanding he not have anyone who can influence the people he needs to bend to his will on his side.

It's like the cruzers snuck aboard the train and started deciding who could and could not be a trump supporter.

Do people not get that he wasn't going to fire congress and dissolve the GOP upon winning?

It's a great pick. Trump needs the establishment to succeed getting things done and he knows it. An administration filled with outsiders would likely struggle colossaly.

Keep in mind his goal is to change the establishment not confront it.

I'll also add that this is probably trumps single biggest strength. Surround himself with people who are knowledgeable and can get things done.

He ran on the promise that he would "drain the swamp". He ran on getting rid of people that made a career out of being in Washington bouncing from one position to another.

Then upon winning, he proceeds to do the opposite.

The context of draining the swap was the collusion with the WH, DOJ, State dept, FBI, media, and CF. He broke that cronyism by winning.

See my post above about why he needs establishment.

There isn't much quivering at all based on what I've seen and read.

He has to. But his direction and leadership are what sets him apart.

And as we've seen, if someone can't get shite done trumps way, they gone. He has zero tolerance for incompetence. Long overdue.

What Trump did as a candidate and what Trump will do as an elected official probably will have little in common.

Carter was most definitely a Washington outsider. Go do a little background on Hamilton Jordan, his chief of staff.

Check out Bert Lance, the director of OMB, while you're at it.
