Breitbart confirms what all #MAGA Patriots have feared.

quote:

U.S. President Donald Trump’s Afghanistan war plan is expected to include an increase in the number of American troops fighting terrorists in the country, prompting some analysts to suggest the “new strategy” is only an extension of the failed status quo

As recently as 4 days ago, I would have happily given my life for then God Emperor Trump. Now he is cucking hard to globalist shills, neoncons, and the military industrial complex. It is disgusting.

I cannot endure seeing my hero bend the knee to the likes of McMaster, Kristol, McCain, and Graham.

This is not what I worked tirelessly for. This is not the President that I elected.

The Republican party simply cannot shift away from 70 year old men who believe weed is the devil and that we need to add more troops to the middle east. Sad.

But things HAVE changed. He's kept or tried to keep just about every campaign promise he made. That's what makes this suck so bad. Immigration is way down - Muslims are way down, Christians are way up. Regulations cut, he's trying to do the wall. He left Paris. Gorsuch.

If he'd have ignored his promises from the beginning nobody would have really been surprised. That he TRIED to follow through for 7 months was the amazing part. And we saw how hard everybody fought him for it - both sides.

Why give up now? What's the point?

He's nothing if not shallow and vain. Guess the coverage of his administration has finally made him look for allies and the bad ideas that come with them.

As God as my witness, I am not flaming when I say that I honestly believe that you guys are deeply emotionally disturbed.

That's because deep down, that's what the majority of their base crave perceived law and order and American hegemony regardless of cost.

There is no fricking way on god's green earth that the Taliban is a national security threat to the United States as they are currently constituted in Afghanistan.

Well, in all fairness, you also described a large portion of the Democratic Party.

That's not what I mean though. What the frick point is there in risking your life to destroy and then rebuild Afghanistan so that Halliburton and General Dynamics stocks can go up 40% instead of 20%?

I understand your pain Winston, but we can't realistically leave until there is a peace deal intact IMO. My hope is that Trump goes big 70,000-100,000 troops and is able to go on the offensive for 2-3 years with the Afghan army ~200,000.

If we don't want to stay another 15 years then we probably have to go big for 5-7 years.

I would prefer a total withdraw however, if he allows the military to obliterate them, that would be okay.

Either way, I want this to end very soon.

How do you obtain a lasting peace deal with a group who believes it is their religious duty to expel you from their lands?

Like I said in one of my post last night, this is Trump compromising to the Deep State on the national security front. I'm frustrated too however he remains strong and very ideological on the populist nationalistic economic front. He obviously cannot fight both. He has to satiate the warmonger Deep State clan represented by McCain and Graham while he battles the economic Deep State cuck clan represented by Paul Ryan and McConnell.

He is killing it on the economic front. He has abolished TTP, put to bed TTIP, on the verge of abandoning the Iran deal, made deals with OPEC counties to keep oil prices low while we've become a major energy exporter and NAFTA re-negotiations are in progress and by proxy and directly with China.

Let the neocons have their little war just to keep them at bay while Trump puts his economic policies in place. Once these neocons Afghanistan plans fail and simultaneously the Trump economy is kicking arse (4% GDP) he will have a lot more political capital to pull out of Afghanistan. Hopefully that takes less than a year.
