I guess everything we want to be a massive issue has to end with the word "gate" on it. So now Russiagate!

Rather than going through a complete layout, let's just cut to the chase shall we:

quote:

In Monday’s House Intelligence Committee hearings, James Comey did confirm that his FBI has found nothing to support President Trump’s tweet that President Obama ordered him wiretapped.

So where do we stand after yesterday’s hearing and eight-month FBI investigation? The Russians did hack Podesta’s email account and the DNC, and while the FBI has found no evidence of Trump campaign collusion with the Russians, it is still looking.

However, the known unknowns seem more significant. How could DNI Director Clapper and CIA Director Morell say that no connection had been established between Trump’s campaign and the Russians, without there having been an investigation? And how could such an investigation be conclusive in exonerating Trump’s associates – without some use of electronic surveillance?

And there is this issue. MButterfly stated today that there was enough rope given today that the noose was set.

Is that what we saw?

How can you know all of these things and how could Flynn's name been dropped unless he was unmasked in the intel sweep?

Let's continue:

quote:

Comey would not commit to investigate these leaks, though this could involve criminal misconduct within his own FBI.

Again, the only known crimes committed by Americans during and after the campaign are the leaks of security secrets by agents of the intel community, colluding with the Fourth Estate, which uses the First Amendment to provide cover for criminal sources, whom they hail as “whistleblowers.”

Indeed, if there was no surveillance of Trump of any kind, where did all these stories come from, which their reporters attributed to “intelligence sources”?

I believe we have a major backlash coming when all of this comes out.

No real person could or would say there was no surveillance. If not... Comey should be fired.

There was. There can be no doubts at this time. That means FISA had to be given. That's the truth of the matter.

At what point does Trump come out and say:

"My fellow countrymen,

Tonight I am saddened to have to do this, but I have been left no choice. How did they get this information? Either legally, with a FISA that targeted me and my team, or illegally. Tonight I am coming to you with the FISA that was asked for.... etc etc"

Huh? There was an investigation; that was a purpose of the hearing. Do they think they called the hearing to exchange pleasantries?

Again. We know that communications between those associates were intercepted.

Why do they keep asking questions, that we know the answer to, and pretending they are some unique gotcha questions instead?

You can laugh, but you can not come up with a any other explanation on how they reached their conclusions without one!

Just try to find an answer. Run over to the DU and see if they can give you a valid answer and bring it back here

you are more worried about what people did to defend the USA against Russian influence than the fact that Trump was colluding with a foreign power.

you are summarized in todays questions. The GOP wanted to know about surveillance. The Dems want to know what Trump did to bring about the Russian manipulation of the election.

Not sure of the point you are making. Again, yes... we all agree there was an investigation, now move past that to the appropriate questions.

I believe you are not following the point here.

They did nothing to defend the US from the Russians trying to influence anything.

What they did was start an investigation. To gather the information they have.... surveillance had to be used. That means FISA.

quote:

n the fact that Trump was colluding with a foreign power.

There is no FACT of that. That's simply your up most desire.

No... The Dems want there to be collusion, which is exactly what you just stated as fact even though there is no such thing.

You also are showing typical leftist tactic of the end justifies the means. Laws were broken with the FISA. There had to be laws broken because names of AMERICANS were unmasked.

So why ask a question as if it's important, when the answer that is know, is the very reason we have questions in the first place?

No I get it. It's doing the same thing. "We know the answer, but if we ask it again, it may seem like there is more to it."

It's trying to use some existential inquiry crap and hoping that the reader eventually comes to a deeper (i.e., different) conclusion.

1. of course it does. The Pope himself justifies our wars for us. Else its required that the Pope tell the Catholics its not a just war of defense and not to participate at all.
People voted for this monster Trump because they didn't want Clinton. That's an example of ends justifying means.

2. I didn't say Trump colluded. you misread my post.
Here
FBI says it is looking into whether any of Trumps staff was colluding with Russia during the campaign. The Dems are gleeful and keeping the question before us.

How am I asking the same questions? I don't recall that being asked today during the hearing.

Admitted, I did not watch it all.

The point I am making is a simple one. I 100% believe Trump knew the answer to the question "Was I wire tapped" before he tweeted. I think he will drop it at some point, for better or worse to all involved.

If you and I know.... Why would anybody think that the President did not/does not know?

I see... so break the laws of this country because you don't like him.

This is why your party is at it's lowest level since the 1920s.

You started a dozen threads before 2 pm and had hundreds of posts. Are you just some paid poster? You are really on an island here.

And that is your (and many others') fundamental problem. The day you realize that he's the pigeon and not Gary Kaspyrov is the day you'll see the light.

So you are of the mindset that the investigation had no surveillance?
