When a county clerk gets on TV almost daily and rants about how you have to wear a mask in harris county and its mandated and BLM and all the other crazy liberal bullshite, it should be obvious she has other agendas other than doing her job.

frick her. I can't wait to Dora the Explorer voted out in a few short weeks.

So is a county judge in Texas equivalent to a parish president here in LA? I am confused. Her position is called a judge but she's making decisions for Harris County...

Basically, she's an elected official that oversees Harris County Tax Budgets

"The County Judge is the presiding officer on the Commissioners Court. As the main governing body of Harris County, the Commissioners Court plays a critical role that is part administrative, part legislative, and part judicial. Its many responsibilities include adopting a budget; setting tax rates; calling for bond elections; building and maintaining county infrastructure such as roads and bridges; and overseeing county courthouses, jails, libraries, parks, and the Harris County Flood Control District."

How the heck is Lina Hidalgo analogous to Jane Fonda? It is a dumb premise.

Yes.

In smaller counties, the county judge also retains a few judicial responsibilities.

Ok so what's the inside joke here?
I have been trying to figure that as well.

Houston has a very large Vietnamese diaspora community, but almost all of them were anti-VC.

Jesus, Ya'll just thought she did some aerobic videos huh?

Does the name Hanoi Jane ring a bell?

Am guessing the 86 is in reference to birth, not class year.

Bumping this one as I'm not much of a thread starter and the is the latest thread about this broad...

Michael Berry said on his show today that he has good enough sauces to say that Hildalgo will be indited after the elections. That the 3 that were charged in her circle was a shot across the bow to her to stop doing what she was doing, and he thinks at least one is talking.

So HOU baws keep an eye on this one.
