How good is Band of Brothers? These guys were obviously motivated to defend the USA.

"Well, our country was attacked," says the fella 15 seconds into a show called Band of Brothers. I am getting ready to watch it now for the very first time.

Would you feel as he felt then, if we were attacked now, knowing what you know?

It would be very hard for me to look my son or daughter in the eye and tell them, "You must defend our way of life. You must fight so our borders can remain open, our elections can continue to be stolen, our children can tell us their sex, our leaders can hang out with known pedophiles. ...."

What else are you willing to fight for?

According to this board we should have sued for peace after the Japanese took over the Phillipines.

I’m jealous, I wish I could go back and rewatch it with a completely fresh set of eyes, going in completely fresh in episode one. Easily one of the GOAT series… enjoy!

Would I go lay my life on the line for some new yorkers or the cabal in DC who are making everyone else’s lives miserable around the world? Maybe not.

Is the enemy sailing up the Mississippi barraging New Orleans or BR? Yes.

Just finished the series for the 6th or 7th time. I’ll never grow tired of it.

Easily the greatest miniseries ever put out by Hollyweird. All the respect in the world for those guys that fought in WWII and endured the great depression prior to going to war.

As for what I'm currently willing to fight for? Not this corrupt government. I'll sacrifice nothing for it and certainly not my kids to go off and fight a useless foreign war that our corrupt government has no intention of winning and never should have been involved in to begin with. I'll fight to the death to defend my home and family and I'll fight that battle right here against any enemy both foreign and domestic.

If our politicians and deep state want to continue to start wars all over the world and defend other countries borders before defending our own then they can send their kids and take up arms themselves along with the tranny brigade and lay it all on the line.

The Pacific is another really good WWII series. Follows the marines taking over Pacific islands. Brutal, close up combat. The last great generation.

I am guessing you are not a veteran.

None of us signed up for, nor did I allow my son to sign up for what America IS, I did so for what she stands for.

Yes, she is battered and bruised right now, but she is still the shining beacon on the hill.

As far as series BoB was better but as far as real life the Marines in the Pacific theater had a better story. Those were the hardest of the hardcore.

You do realize that the US Army conducted more amphibious assaults during WWII than the crayon eaters did, right?

The recently released series Masters of the Air is also pretty good. I'd rank it behind Band of Brothers then The Pacific but it's still a very good series.

If you are not willing to fight in combat to defend and advance world-wide the Globo Homo Queer Culture and Drag Queen Story Hour, brother, you are Un-American.

So, get your head right, put on a nice pink chiffon skirt and some heels stand with me and sing "God Bless America."

My maternal unit gave decent advice when I was a kid (pre 9/11). If you want action, USCG is the place to go. She was right. Someone is falling off a boat, a boat is taking on water, something is going on which doesn't involve explosives, every day. Drug running, etc. That's where I'm gently highlighting for my kids. No F'ing way mainstream armed forces. Unless you're in SOF, it's just going to get them killed unnecessarily.

Getting smoked in a C-47 on the way to Holland is not optimal, but there wasn't much anyone could do about it. But the US Navy, repeatedly running boats into things and other boats in the last decade and killing sailors in recent years? Osprey accidents that kill dozens over years? But let's talk about DEI. Nope. Safety, like at Boeing comes above all.

But, to the original question, I think the most important thing is to fight (and I don't mean on the Internet) and stand up for people that can't defend themselves. Get aggro with someone that doesn't deserve it? I'm probably walking over, to support the people that don't deserve it. Those things happen every day, Afghanistan does not.
