The correct answer is that they didn't influence the election but they did meddle in the democratic process by hacking and releasing the emails. Upright and honest people will admit this should not happen and we should do everything in our power to make sure it doesn't. Hacks on this board will say it's not a problem because the hacking helped their side this time.

The MSM had their coronation of Hillary the minute that she announced her candidacy for POTUS. From that time until November 8, they thought that it was a shoe-in to the White House. The fact that her only real opponent in the primary was a 74 year old socialist sums up the fact that they tried to do everything in their power to make sure her path to the White House was as easy as can be.
The problem with all of this is that they sold their soul to her. When you have not one but TWO DNC chairpersons having to step down because of collusion with the media and the Clinton campaign, you've pretty much exposed yourself beyond measures to the American people. Plus, you've alienated half of your party who supported Bernie Sanders. On November 8, the charade came back to bite them in the a$$.
It's pretty simple. The MSM did everything in their power from constantly bashing Trump to hiding the corruption of Team Hillary. And it all got exposed for everyone to see. Honestly, irrespective of politics, I don't think it passes the smell test that the above is true.
Why would the Russians gain damaging information on Hillary and release it when it was the least useful to them to do so?
Having bad information on someone who leads a country you wish to behave in a certain way is most useful UNreleased.

How is the MSM lying about Trump's campaign on a daily basis not the same thing? Obama's administration broke the law unmasking Americans and leaking information to the press in order to influence the election. Id say the Dems are the actual guilty party

we don't even have proof of that sir. As unlikely as it is, we don't even know if John Podesta himself gave those emails to WikiLeaks, because that's the point,, we don't KNOW what happened.
And this from a guy who abhors WikiLeaks, I would advocate putting a bullet in Assange's head , he's an enemy of the United States.
But even recognizing that, you MUST recognize that if the DNC hadn't been so shady there wouldn't have been anything to reveal?

Are you saying it was not the Russians who hacked and released. Every single person in authority (except Trump) and intelligence officials have stated that it was the Russians.

Riddle me this.
Why do Democrats and their supportersr take it for gospel when the "intelligence community" says that The Russians hacked the DNC and Podesta, but argue that those very same people saying "no evidence of collusion" means we should launch an independent prosecutor to investigate Trump?
It makes no sense.

You tell me. Which is worse? Completely true, damaging e-mails, or trying to weave a false narrative? because the DNC is guilty of both. Let's not forget they influenced their OWN primary.
I don't know who you voted for. I would guess Hillary since you are not upset about them fixing the primary against Bernie Sanders.
